  1. I absolutely love aprilia, I had a RSV Mille for a few months and it was frightening how quick it was, I couldn’t ride it for long it was like been beat up i almost bought a aprilia dorsoduro 900, before the virus, good job I didn’t with the way things have turned out with work and what not
  2. I loved motocross bikes and a proper boy racer cars when I was younger, I used to do loads of work for lads who were in the Ford RS owners club, so always had mk1 and mk2 xr2’s, escort turbos and cossy’s my mate had a Capri 2.8 tickford turbo, it got nicked from outside his house, joyrided and burnt out, today that would be a 25k car
  3. Was the Kawasaki a GPZ, they were nuts, they only made them for a couple of years a mate of mine has just bought a Audi S3 2010 to put away ( it’s immaculate) because he said they are a future classic, he did the same with a series 1 escort turbo about 30 years ago, he just refers to that as the pension, his brother has got a standard RS500 and he refused 60k a few years ago
  4. Every time I’ve been there fox shooting I’ve seen between 2 and 7, they can be tricky to get near because they tend to see you across the field. We’ll have to have a night after foxes on his land when we are allowed, he has hundreds of acres in different places, but are all within 5 minutes drive of each other
  5. 5 minutes from my house, it’s not very big but there’s a good softwood plantation next to it and there’s always deer in their fields, he said there was 12 one morning last week
  6. I think with the way things have been for the last 10 months we should all make the most of life, it’s shown us you don’t know what’s around the corner, I can’t wait until we go back to normal and I can go down to Lincolnshire for a full weekend fox shooting and I can bother people like your good self to show me the way of the deer ( I’ve just go another farm for foxes and roe ) ?
  7. Nowt better than just having a walk about with a rifle over your shoulder ?
  8. Site update SL, I too have had to interact with members of the household ? sorry to hear about your friends wife, that’s no age at all
  9. Hope you are on the mend mate, I don’t have many pictures from my younger days and when I find a couple it brings back some good memories, I’d almost forgotten about the yellow Suzuki, it was a monster, it came form E T James ( welsh motocross specialist) road registered on a Q plate, I used to ride it around the streets until I realised I was probably going to die on it, so just used it off road ? ahh happier times
  10. A couple more my first legal road bike ( by that I mean, I went and done my test ), Suzuki 600 bandit, I think it was T reg my BMW 318, I think I was 19 when I bought this, took all the chrome trim off and replaced it with mat black, lowered it and fitted 15” TSW wheels ( wish I had a picture from the side ) I thought I was the nuts with my massive 15” alloys ( this will of been 97”/98” ish )
  11. The weather is shocking, I’ve been rained off, stuck in the house with nothing to do so decided to clean a cupboard out, found an old photo album of the renovation of my first house and in the back of it was some pictures of my old rides. I never used to take pictures of my cars and bikes because it was before digital cameras, so theses are all I’ve got ( I think )I know it’s nowt to do with this but it’s a bit of nostalgia for me on a wet miserable day they will be from mid 90’s to early 2000’s my Suzuki RMX 250, think it was a 94’ my Honda CR250, think it was a 96’ my s

  13. Good result mr sausage, I’m hoping to get to the sheep farm tomorrow, everything is in the sheds but they are starting to lamb in 4/5 weeks so I need to have a look out, I had a good walk round at the shoot as no one had been there I went looking for fox tracks, I only found one set heading into one of the timber blocks, so at least I know where to have a look once I get time
  14. Up at the shoot early yesterday morning for a quick feed around and to get a couple of birds for longshanx, although it was very cold and frosty when I set off we had no snow, by the time I got up the bank onto the top the snow was a couple of inches deep. At the farm this had increased to between 6” and 8”. So I got the bike out put a couple of bags of corn on the back and the .22 in the box on the front, I’m only feeding a couple of places now and the remaining birds have moved there so Gordon’s pen was the first stop where they were waiting under holly bushes on the clear ground that the sn
  15. It doesn’t matter, it livestock protection, I travel about the same to the sheep farm, at the minute I don’t shoot any of my other land where they are not problem at the minute
  16. Hahaha, clearly, like most tree hugging nut jobs has never smelt a badger, almost as mental as gwyneth Paltrow’s fanny candle ?
  17. It’s not that grim, even if where I live is apparently the most dangerous place to live in the country, maybe I’ll move down south and then that will become the most dangerous place to live ?
  18. Does anyone else watch Perfect planet? I’ve just watched the second one and it blows my mind, the Arctic hares are amazing, I had no idea they gather in their hundreds like that and the wasp that pollinates the figs was just weird
