I was unaware of a none party in that list. What do they stand for ?
-
What's the matter with you. MRLP all the way. ????

I don't know if they are. If they are members of your syndicate then surely they should be helped and taught by other members. £40 is nothing. Have they been told or given a breakdown of why that cost has been asked? And if the stalker is going to the shoot to take a couple then why can't they be taken and instructed at the same time? Luckily I have ground that has a few roe and the odd fallow that wanders through so I don't have ground that I have to travel miles to get to. I only selectively take a couple a year for my own use and am not putting the carcasses into the food ch

It all depends on how much you want to shoot a target. When the suggested cost is broken down it is nothing, but at the end of the day all each gun is doing is shooting a target. Ok they are learning something about stalking and the guy isn't making anything out of it but £40 to shoot something is as daft as paying £40 to shoot a pheasant or a rabbit or a tin can. They make their choice and if the funds are going back into the shoot. Another angle is that as soon as anyone starts charging where does it stop ? Is the land owner going to be selling off pigeon shooting to the highest bidder

Like everything you have to put the lead on the target. The amount of Charlie's that I have seen shot in the arse. One old keeper remarked " I see they all surrendered arse first again". ?? You have Got to lead the head, Like geese. On one shoot a Charlie was bowled over from about 25 paces and to all intents dead. Suddenly it got up and raced off across a field. Unluckily for the fox it ran straight into wire at full chat. a gun went and dispatched it. One of the keepers decided to skin it and to his surprise he only found a single #7 pellet in the lower wrist area. The bloke who shot AT i

Yeah. The pelt of One that I shot with #7 looked like it had, had an agument with a sewing machine there that many pellet holes in it !! Took the whole pattern.

I had a look online and I reckon that you'd be lucky to find any dealer that carried stock of something like 36gm BB on the shelf. Because the only use for them now is fox shooting. Cant use them for wildfowl. Smallest amount is 250 at about £110. Thats nearly £14 a box. Now even the most active Fox shooter who is a regular standing gun is going to use more than a box a year. So there aint many dealers gojng to hold stock that has so little use. Still, years ago when Eley were THE cartridge brand they used to recomend #4 for fox out to about 40 yds. Home loads ?? . I QUITE like 1.1/4 of

That Charlie looks in good condition. That would have Been a top pelt back when we used to cash them in and have a fox shooters dinner in the local working men's club at the end of the season on the proceeds. Those dinners were a good laugh ... until one of the bright sparks wives insisted that she came along also because her ole man went to a strip night at the club and another bright spark let the info slip out. It all went downhill after that because there were so many bodies with everyone's wife and girlfriend ect at the dinner that had no relationship with anyone else. It degenerated int

How have you managed to break the nice axes and not break the cheap ones. .?

I noticed the stuffed copper on the news was bigging up their part. No mention of the public who tackled the bloke and disarmed him. All I saw them do was pull the public off the guy and them shoot him on the ground. Apparently this bloke pulled his jacket open and he was wearing what looked like an explosive vest. I'd have given him the whole mag to make sure. There looked to be a couple of women bystanders right there. I wonder if they will be able to claim compensation for trauma stress like a load of the Hilsborough coppers did.

I know you..... your an existing member, that bloke who uses front staffers in the rain who looks like a cartoon character. I don't think that you should be allowed out on patrol looking like that. You'll frighten The dogs !!! And we can't have that sort of thing going on here. Have you ever thought of wearing a mask to hide that hideous visage ?? ???

The spaniel has asked for two pairs of wellies. I took her out yesterday afternoon and considering the amount of rain that has fallen it wasn't bad at all. Ok the gateways were a bit sticky and there was odd puddles of surface water in odd places but overall It was pretty reasonable. Many times I have seen a lot more water going down the stream in the wood. Today it is bright and sunny so I'll get the deck chair out later.

What. This sort of roaming ??

None of those types are any good. They are total rubish because they are soo slooow. I got one of the son in laws one of these. Now theses are a different ball game. The impact is lightning fast and will split a round that you cant get your arms around and it takes two people to lift onto the rack. He and his 10 year or girl, who operated the levers split 4 big sand bags of logs in a short day. The 8.5 ton impact ram operates back and forth as fast as you Can cycle the levers. Keep hands ect out of the way !! https://www.tfmsuperstore.co.uk/products/log-splitter-portek-quick-spl

admitted hunting animals with dogs and has been given a suspended prison sentence and banned from parts of the county. He appeared at Poole Magistrates Court on Tuesday 19th November 2019 for an application by Dorset Police and the Crown Prosecution Service to VARY an existing criminal behaviour order. Cochrane had pleaded GUILTY at a previous hearing on Wednesday 30 October 2019 to offences of being in possession of a wild animal, which he was prohibited from doing by a criminal behaviour order, and for hunting a wild mammal with a dog, an offence under Section 1 of the Hunting Act

Since when has shooting rabbits, aided by lamp light been illegal ? Now if your using dogs that may be different. Can you give the details of this because it could be either. You dont say whether it was with gun or dog.

It does, it does. ? I've seen Ray lent pissing up against a tree with a woodbine hanging limply from the corner of his mouth whilst his Woodlore knife that you have to wait about a couple of years for and will cost between £400 ... £500 is skinning a deer that Gordon Ramsey didn't shoot but Fanny Cradock dropped as dead as a nit. Still that sort of quality doesn't come cheap. ????

Ray Mears's favorite axe is a Gransfors Bruk small ĺ forest axe. Ray only has the best kit.

Grammatically shouldn't that be.... (past tense) .... repeatedly trodden ?? ??? Anyway make an example of the suspect !! Hang one of the Bstds !!! Is there a cat that could be in the frame ??? There must be a cat involved the frame somewhere?? ??? ??????????

It dont really matter much in this instance. Whatever it was may well come back to finish the job so if you've got the time, lay it out and wait for the B. Then blow its head off. The only thing to remember is that the first blighter might not be the culprit but in any case take no prisioners with the exception of any stray dogs.We can't have anpy of that sort of nonsense going on here.

I haven't had the time to watch through the clip yet . I did have a quick look through and the velocities look very consistent. As said nothing is set totally in stone but some of the lightweight bullets that are designed to set up in small critters such as Groundhogs will disintegrate when driven at high speed (over 4000 fps) when fired through fast twist barrels such as 1:8 from something like a 220 swift. Every barrel / gun combination is different. I have spent a lot of time and money developing loads and my barrel just doesn't perform with light bullets and fast powders. The load that I -

Slight difference with slightly loose and a 2 cv gearstick loose. ? My 223 is about 24 years old. The metalwork is silky smooth, like new and it is capable of taking targets out to 300 +, although I don't often take them at that range. The stock could do with rubbing down and re doing but I'd only wear it again and as I'm not trying to flog it there ain't any point. The person mentioned that was kinda surprised wasn't used as a running boar target was he ? ??? -

You should consider the barrel twist because the use is related to the twist. If you drive a Vermint bullet through a 1:8 at high, high speed the bullets can disintegrate with the rotational stress. For most cals 1:12 x 22 inch is quite a good compromise.
