  6. The rspca are c**ts!! Although they have zero legal power when they turn up with the police they seem to run the show. I'm talking from experience the police do as instructed by the rspca they took my dog while I was not there and my wife told them they were not taking him until I got back they also took him before any warrant was shown. After a lot of research on them this seems to be the m o of the rspca they often take animals illegally and get away with it every time. 10 minutes of searching and you'll dig up alot of dirt like how they took a hunt to court at the cost of roughly 400,000 po
  7. 31° in Devon yesterday. Days like that I'm glad my kennel is in shade all day round. I keep me beating dogs fit all year round just means early walks and late walks when it's cooler

  9. I don't have a lurcher at the moment but getting one soon. I work a Springer and a sprocker they are both good at different things but in my eyes they are both first class they do what I want them to do I can't ask for much more. When I had my lurcher I got him at 18 months old his prey drive was incredible however the whole idea of bringing it back to me was at the bottom of his list. He wasn't worked before I got him and was only let off the lead in small fenced areas so I suppose he didn't have the best start up and was taking advantage of all the open space he had
  10. It's about reasonable dout if you was out on a walk and something happened and that was not you intention then whoever was bringing charges for such "offence" would have a job proving otherwise however they will check everything conversations through that day and if lamping had been mentioned then they would use that against you. But back to the question they would argue the fact but in the end they would not be able to charge unless evidence suggest otherwise. So if it was just a walk and something happened then I'd say you'd be fine.
  11. I'm sure I've read somewhere that they used this cross before the bull x came in strong
  12. So if you had a Dalmatian (if it was a running dog) you'd be proper screwed then ?

  17. Lead walking near say sheep keeping to heal and saying no when they look at them do that until it sinks in a few walks then off lead to heal doing the same. Eventually working towards them having seen them and paying no interest towards them. If able to try and force the sheep to run and if/when dog pulls correct straight away as it's no good if the dog chases them while your calling it back and then when it dose come back you give it hell as in my view it won't want to come back in future. I've done it this way with both my spaniels and my old lurcher works for me. Time and lots of effort. Bu

There are so many roe deer round me there all in woods by an industrial estate if you go night time you can drive right next to them some run other dont it's bloody nuts and as there are so many I see them most mornings when I'm off to work it has sort of spoilt it a tad I still love seeing them and always slow down to get a good look the rare occasion has now gone but still amazing beasts
