  1. Well done for "educating" an eejit on the error of his ways .The small bird population is being devastated by a mahoosive increase in birds of prey and needs all the help it can get
  2. On nights but enjoy it lads ,il be zzzzz whilst u lot wag chins and buy need it and want it and sod it too
  3. nah co2 longer barrel =more power from the end,ask any paintballer they like a bit of length .If you want the best of both worlds get the air conversion, comp air is far more power and not affected by cold unlike co2 which drops off the colder it gets. There,s various kits online and a Crossman owner,s forum with all the ins and outs of modding .My 2240 loves air and the adaptor for my paintball buddy bottle screws into the bottle cap at the front atb
  4. Well done a good start and a happy farmer cant be bad. There,s a good supply of food for your ferrets and the dog ,free is a great price
  5. Result mate far better way to spend a night than making car parts ,and a bit of snap for the landowner win,win
  6. Well done Nath ,a good night for u n the farmer ,saved a few lambs there
  7. True enough ive been reported as a terrorist whilst out pigeon shooting by the horse ponces live in the country but from elsewhere, even the police where laughing their heads off whilst speaking to me as the farmer confirmed i was all legit .The neighbours are cool with my shooting as Venison/Pigeon and Pheasant taste mmmmmm nice but im weary of the brainwashed Packham brigade who think meat comes vacuum packed from Tesco,s
  8. well done a good rat is a dead un,there,s some corker,s at work but the elf n safatee fascists wont let me deal with them
  9. Get a second hand Photon ,fitted with 30mm Leupold/Warne q/r mounts ,jobs a good 1 .Expect to pay about £220 to £250 .Took mine out Saturday saw loads of bunnies and Muntjac 150 yards away as ive fiited a Black sun ir lamp .But the built in laser will be good enough for your ranges.Them Telly screens on top will light you up like a christmas tree. Fit a weaver rail to both rifles and your zero will hold ,dont worry about "standard" weavers the chinese do a long rail you cut down and drill to suit your rifle,s screw holes..Under a fiver delivered of the bay of evil atb
  10. Out tonight no foxes but saw 4 Muntys about 150m away ,one a fawn bouncing around like a nutter well pleased with the black ir as the normal laser fitted is a bit pooh .Look forward to fitting the 55mm Pentax to it for even better quality images
  11. My Photon was £220 delivered ,2nd hand will use it as is for now but.Ive studied all the improvement ideas on N.V forum <thanks Villaman>and a 55mm Pentax Takumar lens and adaptor are in the post .They give it far greater clarity and slightly better range. In the area i shoot dont need a huge range but if i do get more land i can swap to the 105mm lens and it,s then a "photon extreme" .Would love a Drone pro but they cost more than my car so her indoors says no way jose to that £1800 . 2nd Hand Photon or if your lucky a used Ward 700 ,but they bolt on to your scope would be your best be
  12. Well done [BANNED TEXT],i only paid £30 for my 16 bore single .Nothing special but bunnies dont like it and it folds into nothing so is easy to carry.Did it come with any 9mm cartridges or is it deep pockets time
  13. Maximum Range on the permission i have is about 150 metres but im sure the unit goes much further .Its all woodland and sloping hills so no real distance shooting involved .The standard I.R laser on its ok but ive added a T20 with a black I.R which gives a much clearer picture and using a li-po 12 v battery gives a good long run time as the 2 AA batteries it uses are a daft idea imho.atb
  14. Just got the 5x42 photon for my .243 yes it is odd using in the day but seems mighty fine at night so ive compromised .My S n B 8x56 is on q/r mounts so im fitting the same to the Yukon and if its deer S n B if its foxes swap to the Yukon .With practice i may get used to the day adaption on the Yukon but right now it,s weird "watching tv" as it were.
  15. Had a S n B 8x56 from Uttings good service and communication ,have a mountmaster rotting in the shed doesnt hold zero for anything so wouldnt advise anyone to get 1 . Optics Warehouse are very good to imho
  16. Hi lads probably done to death already but ive purchased a Yukon 5x42 for my .243 and would like to know what doubler lens and adaptors you use on yours .The interweb is awash with do this no do this contradictions and its making me confused dot.com. I would like to fit a 2.5 and maybe a lens hood to hide glare ,ive got a 940nm I.R to go on but would a black ir be better .And i believe i need an adaptor to mount the lens so who do you get yours from . Over to you o fountain of knowledge and experience and thanks in advance

  21. True enough ,my last true trips the high temp was -2.5 at 6am and the fog was thicker than the ex wife and the only thing i saw was a Munty,s butt as he ran off barking the county awake
  22. Does the beans for you Toxo and the dogs are getting some good snap .I,m using a monopod at the minute as my t67 short isnt over heavy ,All these see in the dark add ons have 1 thing in common extra weight for the rickety kneed mature shooter atb
