  1. Especially over barley. The birds were floating into the deek's a treat. Two hours of pigeon joy. Seven birds down and five misses. Oh and a jackdaw. The session wnded slightly early! I rammed wads before powder, rushing lol. Never mind, I had a modest blast and that suits me just fine. Loaded with fine black and about 5/8oz of #8 shot. Nice and sooty gun, ? U.
  2. Good haul. Do you know a game dealer?
  3. Ask your local nick for contact details of the firearms unit. They will want to know what they are and depending on that you may be cautioned. It may be prudent to ask an RFD to hold them for you but be cautious on any opinion given by an RFD.
  4. Tidy shooting, I missed a rook and woodie this morning!?
  5. 357. Don't have it any more but it is a great round for England in my opinion.
  6. Agree but it, the 17rem may be based on the long forgotten sadly 222 rem magnum.
  7. Waiting for a fox to show. The blood is from her retrieving a rabbit I shot. U.

  9. I have a mint Uggie sxs sidelock ejector. It has its shiny bores fitter to the action in the correct orientation. U.
  10. I missed a crow this morning in my garden ?
  11. Thank you mate. Was Just wandering, for £130 for a .20 if any good cannot loose. As stated I am looking at the 99 and 95, dropped the BSA Lightning as a contender, shame as it fits me to a T. Thank you once more U. All the best If your handy with tools go for it, just in case like. U.
  12. I had one a few years ago. The stock is flimsy up the front. I had to make escutcheons for it. The Chinese action was good and tunable. The trigger is tunable. Mine was 177 and I would plink to silly distances. It was accurate with a wide range of pellets. Personally I prefer the slightly larger hatsan striker models. U.
  13. Well done you, shoot the rotten things ?
  14. Howdoo, was up near you last week. Near glenluce. Spent a lot of time around your part. U.
  15. I get the odd good shot or two now and then. 160paces off hand. About 180yds. Off hand. 200 paces off hand. U.
  16. I disagree about the extra rifling. What conclusion I came to was as with firearms barrel harmonics play a big role in an accurate load. Spring air guns are completely different I know but maybe the longer barrel on a long barrelled springer is in a better state of vibration just as the pellet exits. Aiding a more consistent departure point for the pellet. U.
  17. On a good day I get around double that on opens, maybe a little more. The paper target is far to graphic lol.
  18. Dig a pit for your belly. If the dimensions are correct you will not even get back pain. Oh great, now I got to carry a spade as well!;-) No just a JCB??
