  1. Yes, #7&1/2 or #7 in a 410 every time for me but for some bizarre reason every one stocks #6! U.
  2. Nobel sport Italia. 1/2oz loads, quite powerful. I also use fiochhi. The eley and lylvale seem weak to me. Ok for rats. U.
  3. It all started this morning. Squirrels in the back yard! A perfect opportunity for my morphed pistol. That got me fired up for a walk with Jess for some more squirrel action but what to take? Well the .410 ain't been out for a while so that was that. Jess and I soon found a couple, they were a breeding pair, she was in season and numb nuts was hanging around. I love 410, every time I take this old Webley out it downs something! U.

  9. Well lads, the morphed pistol works. Only a 25yard proposition but very accurate and quiet with an old rimmie mod on it. U.
  10. I had a plink with my 99 last night and no way would I want to be a rabbit to 45yds with my head stuck out! I put some glass on it and am very pleasantly surprised. No more dollies for me. Spring rifles are better for the environment anyway
  11. ......so I won't! Except that I hate being tied to a bottle! Anyway having a co2 pistol sitting around and a PCP of the same modular parts got my pea sized brain fired up. I morphed the pistols co2 chassis to the rifles barrel and stock to give me a handy intermediate rifle of around 9ft/lb output. The blasted thing is so accurate I should be able to head shoot birds to 25+yards with it! And it gives 40 shots per itty bitty bulb of laughing gas and is very very quiet. Good for garden duty. Am I mad, well yes, as if you needed reminding! Now if I want t
  12. In windy conditions one has to simply get closer, that is sage advice for any calibre. Shooting at great distances is man and machine playing dice with the elements. Getting closer to quarry is man verses beast, in that light any rifle will do , relatively speaking. U.
  13. I hate the flaming things. They violently turn a fat old bloke into a teen brakedancing champion instantly! U.
  14. Being a protector of chickens. ?
  15. Howa are Japanese mate. Tikka are finish I think, or Swedish.
  16. End of June they are due so by August/September wanting homes. The price is due to me not wanting to make money but to carry the line on plus I want genuine lads to own them and have some fun in the fields. This is the Dam tonight. U.
  17. I am thinking of £160. They seem to go from £150-£175 Thanks.
  18. Howa are excellent rifles. I agree with Decker, for the field forget heavy barrels.
  19. Don't worry about the hat, you have to earn the right to wear it and only if you're a serious hunter like them that can use a front loader ?
  20. Hmmm. The piece that holds the magazine in is a hardened steel rod with reliefs for a detent, now if the had radius'ed the corners it would not break. I would of thought JB would know better!
