  1. lads the way to go in my opinoin is a mali or dutch shepard x greyhound bitch. mark my words they are going to blow the collie hound x out of the park.for sheer brains and that natural fight hunt drive call it what u want. you will not go too far wrong.try and get a knpv bred stud dog.
  2. hope they work out for you.i would say they have much the same drive as knpv bred dutch shepards or malinois.which can only be a good thing the drive that is. all i will say is best of luck with them and call it if their not doing the business.

  5. joint a rabbit or rabbits cover them in flour salt pepper and parpraike.brown them in a large pot with oil.add 2 tins of thick mushroom soup and 2 tins of milk and 1 cup of cream in on top of the rabbits .add 1 egg cup of sherry and put the pot into the oven to cook.u wont eat better.

  8. animalantex is very good.use it all the time on the horses.u can get it in most vets.its a gause and when wetted with hot or cold water turns it turn to gel u wrap it around the wrist and put a bandage around it then.witch hazel is good also.i have used it on my lurchers from time to time with great results.hope this is usefull to u.
  9. i was at the birr game fair this yr 2016.their was a man selling handmade weathervains along fishermans row on the right hand side. can anyone remember what the name of his company was. i was thinking of getting a lurcher and terrier weathervain made for the house.cheers lads.

  11. i have some fowl that was ment to have come out of his yard.it was brought over a few yrs back.got a chance to meet him 2 yrs ago on a scorching sunny day at the westmeath show.he seemed to be in great form.
  12. its hard to believe that theirs that much of a speed differance between them considering their nearly all of the same type running dog.you would be hard pushed to pick a winner by looks alone same can be said for the flat horses.really good clip.
  13. what a beauty my own dutch herder covered a hound bitch a few yrs back but she never held.was gutted at the time. the herder is still doing his job around the place he is a powerfull animal.

  18. iam getting a trio of le bresse chickens during the wk ive never had them before but their ment to be the real deal when it comes to meat birds.the plan is to breed plenty for the table nxt yr. has any one experience with this breed of table bird.

  20. deerhound pups are the only type of lucher/longdog pups that are maken that type of money here in ireland any thing from 400 upwards.and those breeders are able to talk the talk and not walk the walk.

I get about 4 of this bitch some times she pulls them out my type of dog.iam luckey to a have 4 of that type in my yard at the moment and to tell the truth they all want to go is through game.id say i get about 8 to 10 digs a season with each of them. i was up the country in the midlands a few wks back and the soil is totally different.dog dropped and id say dug and backfilled in half an hour.no heavy gear needed. all peat earths a joy to go digging.not the case around our area.
