And this is how you decided I don't work my dogs, I take it I don't know you then & you haven't got a drone following me around ???????? would it be fare to say that the dogs in ur yard would have at one time gone to crufts and ur kennels are all for show.

  14. im luckey to have ali stuff in my yard and have had it near on ten yrs.
  15. dont know the man never met or spoke to him.but from his reading his posts over the last few yrs neil cooney i reckon would do a good job in writhing an irish working terrier book.
  16. And great craic and story teller, I know his family asked if they could stray from the questionnaire but were told no, imagine asking him about terrier shows? But not ask him about trials or Otter hunting or hounds or his history. I'm sure plenty more in the book had great stories to tell. theirs the makens of another book penned by an irish terrier man with the proper skill set in writhing.
  17. i was on about the contents of the interviews.
  18. people can take what they want from the book either lies or the truth.but to be honest i liked it.the irish terriermen interviews from lads all over the country i otherwise wouldnt have heard off.digging is something thats in my gut and im proud to say yea theirs good diggin lads in ireland.in 40yrs time this will be a grand reference.
  19. the book is a grand read.i taught the j hendrix a cocker sections were really the stand out interviews.

  23. any pics of rockinhearts lines?? sorry old school, i dont. that was a while ago when i had them.i got a dog in n. ireland once, derry, solmoman banks end he was called, woody for short. he was a good dog, but very hard, loved pain. great nose, just as good as any hound, but a fecker to fight. a man by the name of s hartigan and his father kept that prefex for his fox terriers all show stuff they also kept welsh terriers show stuff also he was never a digging man he keeps deerhounds now.
  24. Blow a collie x out the park? Enlighten me then please to as what their superiority is over a collie x as the Mali x's I've seen were moderate at best, perhaps I've only seen a glimpse of what they are/were really capable? both the collie mali and dutch are herding types.i work with malies and dutches every day.in my opinoin a high %age of collies fall short when it comes to taken fox on its own on the other side ive seen a fare few proper knpv bred stuff do it and that %age is still small because theirs few enough knpv dogs around in ireland in comparission to the working collie. put th
  25. Me personally If I wanted a another runner i.e. pot filler come fox dog I would consider a Mal x grey a Pal of mine has one, its prey drive is second to none and really full on, also doubles up as an excellent guard. Not really the ideal breed for novice lurcher owners, not saying frost is inexperienced, but if he is.........go for the collie cross Imo. i take ur point about not haven a novice lurcher owners starting off with a dutch x but after the collie hound x dosent come up to the mark as the perfect allrounder, the mali or dutch cross will be their to pick up the slack.
