  1. Lovely looking pup that mate! Really nice colour and stamp
  2. Sorry to hear that mate - get everything down in writing, email is best as no way it can get lost and has evidence of times and dates. The more detail you can get the better. As above, get a statement written by the lady who took to vets, she sounds like a dog person so will no doubt help. Good luck in getting some justice
  3. Thank you Copperpot! Top bloke to speak and deal with, honest and genuine. Happy hunting mate, Ed
  4. Well done to all involved. Hopefully the owner will be understand his dog a bit more after this. The badger bit was only mentioned to add drama and sell stories, focus should be on the lads who gave their time for the dog. Well done, Ed
  5. Agreed - pears! I have a similar tree, very old and the fruit is incredibly hard. Needs a good couple of hours in boiling water to make anywhere near usable.

  7. From my limited knowledge - ducks don't have a 'crop' as such but the esophagus can expand in order to store food. When my chickens have a lump in their crop i massage it until it goes down, often it's a lump of long grass that begins to ferment and produce gas. If it's very hard and the bird looks ill then hold it upside down and rub the esophagus until whatever it is comes out through the bill. Not the nicest but will save the life. Hope this is if some use, just speaking from experience, Ed
  8. My mates bringing on a 'sprocker' at the moment. 6 months old and is following his nose into cover, pretty agile dog. He hasn't entered anything thick yet but has given chase to a couple of coneys out in the open, obviously with no success!! I'll watch this thread with interest

  11. A bit more detail is needed. All I can see this doing is bringing the use birds of prey into question. For parliament to take it seriously it must have the spelling and grammar checked at the very minimum. Like the idea behind it though. Ed
