if you go on eBay you can by 4.5 X 1.7 mm latex tube from China for around a £5 there's enough to make up quite a few catty,s and it behaves simulator to tbg but lasts a lot longer you can adjust the power by varying the size of the loop at the fork end about a third loop seems to be a god all rounder Thanks GM, I'll certainly look into it. I'm not sure I understand your advice re varying the size of the loop tho sorry. I,m leaving for jersey in two mins but I,ll stick some pics up when I get back if no one else has already cheers

All I am getting is a map of woodland?If its a group of walkers,most of them will have had camera phones,if it stalked them for a mile + are there any decent pics in the report?It was night time they were walking I know the spot really well and is very popular for night walkers and all sorts of weirdos pulled into the car park to go lamping one night and found out it's a very popular dogging spot I normally walk up from the derelict pub at the bottom through the valley, so that was,nt me you saw in the carpark honest I worked in crystal fountain for quite a while and found a couple of stripped

I did give a catty to a young lad of around 10 years old when I was having a mooch round his dad's land with the dogs and for a lad that had never fired a catty he started hitting everything he aimed at within minutes I was so impressed I made him a little catty and a bag of bearings up and gave them to him he was the most naturally gifted person I have ever seen with one and I hope he,s kept it up, it's nice to hear your daughter has kept it up, I give quite a few catty,s to youngsters in the hope it will get them out and off the computer for a bit and give them an interest in the outdoors,

I,ve never felt the need to go double with my bands, but in general people use doubles for hunting more, I have a few different forks and the target sniper will take a 35mm wide band which is enough to chuck 12mm lead and drop a pheasant, my ppsg has 25mm singles which are a good general all round size for targets and smaller game like pigeons and I have a nice hazel fork with 15mm singles on that I use for tin shooting in the garden it's deadly accurate but I would,nt shoot any live stuff with it hope that helps

nothing mate he,s upstairs, he made it on a few telly shows and was a bit of a celeb late in life, another really impressive American old boy is a guy called blue skeen he was the first person I saw using an extended fork/starship catapult design, these old fella,s along with Bill Hayes are the reason catty,s have shot so far forward in the last few years in England they have been way ahead of us for years in the states and a few people have brought it on over here now but the credit lies with the yanks

my daughter bought me a catty from him for Christmas after. gamekeeper John gave her the bump, she said he was really helpful and went the extra yard to get it to her in time and as the recipient of the catty I can vouch for its quality really well tied with good materials

25mm straight cuts about right on mine ok for targets but will nail the odd pigeon as well, sometimes it pays to ignore the aiming dimp as well, I find the corner of the fork suits me better, goodluck happy shooting and when you finish pinging the fork just get a bit of emery cloth and buff out the marks
