The old guy on mountain men, Tom does some fantastic stuf with them, he makes lovely knife sheath,s from the tail eat,s the meat and cures and makes stuff from the pelt a real skilled old boy, he also traps them himself and he,s 72

Also got a photo of one a couple of years ago on the Cotswold water park, it was not shy and sat outside my mates bivvie for about 20 mins before wandering off surprising what's out there doing well right under our noses, just wondering if a terrier can go into one of those dams, back in the 70,80,s they were crying out for people to dig out those coypu,s on the Norfolk broads doubt it will happen again though we,ve gone all soft, another thing about beavers I heard they contaminate the water they live in with a bacteria I,ve heard Americans refer to it as beaver fever which makes me chuckl

No they were not and yes there has, I never drove 90 miles to show Ken a picture that was on here you sponge

I would,nt even try explaining to him, his pleasure comes from being a dick and not from contributing anything, he brought the other cat thread to an end by sucking the life out of it and he,s just trying to be consistent, the sponge

still trying to make a point? .,the people that collar and track these cats in the states are also very helpful to us and our cause, which is why I mentioned p22 many of these cats are also fed in front of the cameras to make them come back time after time and p22 is a very cooperative cat , he is part of a programme with a lot of funding and people working full time on it as apposed to a handful of volunteers using there own time money and cameras, did your mum never tell you f you have nothing good to say it's better to say nothing ???

I,ve had a led lenzer p6 for years not rechargeable but battery,s last for ages, it's also gun mountable and has a rat tail swith that can be put on in place of the normal switch and attached to your stock, I think the police in America use them really robust and throws a good variable beam I,ve even lamped a few rabbits with it and the dog on the local golf course at shortish ranges

My missus used to feed them every night in the back garden same situation, but my collie X learned to hide in the garden after I went out for my bedtime puff, he would kip in the summer house and fly out everytime everytime a fox came over the fence and as fast as they learned about the free food they learned it was a trap and now they avoid the garden, very clever opportunist animal

There is a tracked one called p22 I think, that lives in the Hollywood hills there are some pretty cool pics of it next to the big sign on the hill, I,m sorry but I can't add anything since the format changed, the native Americans thought they were shape shifters because they are so good at disappearing and turning up in unexpected places, even other country,s

I don't think any modern van is any better than the next, they all share parts made in the eu even the new transit is Renault powered, you either get a good one or a lemon, and when computer says no it stops, simple as that

I know my mate bought a loyalty card stamp for nando,s he would stamp his own card so he never paid for food, then he would stamp anyone else,s for half price so he had free grub and made a few quid as we'll all for the princely sum of £25

Always got to have a plan B mate, what's better sitting at home trying to keep warm on a one bar fire seeing no one for days or having the heating right up because someone else is paying and going down to association every evening with all your mates for a bit of tv and a game of cards before going to bed with a cup of tea and a fag, all f,o,c

I live on a very main road with traffic lights outside so every day I spend in the countryside is an absolute pleasure even the smell of cow shit, funny enough I have just been over to my local pheasant shoot to see a mate of mine and even the sound of people saying what's he doing here or sorry mate but I can't be seen talking to you here is better than the sounds at home

I believe in Germany they are still a working breed, I can't abide any dog that does not fulfill the simplest of duty,s, especially wearing clothes I don't hunt much for food these days but if I was hungry my dogs would provide food and if I,m under threat they will fight alongside me, thats all I ask,

And I,ve never known anyone that's owned a vivaro not to complain, they are shite, the only person I no that drives one today has put a private plate on it and decided to keep it forever because he has spent about three times what it's worth on maintenance
-
And for a smiley face transit there £25 each and a 2 min job to fit yourself
-
Looking like it may be a hoax hopefully everyone going home safely to loved ones

Time to get up there and look for tracks mate, lol

I,d rather give five years of my life at the 70 end than in my 20,s infact if I live into my 80,s I,m giving crack a go, the biggest growth in the prison population is oap,s because your looked after better than an old peoples home and the government don't make you sell your house to pay for it, I'm all in favour of oap crime though this old fella was,nt really making anything from it, at least he won't be lonely at Christmas

Like to hear a kingfisher beeping as it gives you the heads up that he,s coming and you get the flash of blue as it shoots past,

Then maybe another small meat eating mamal the polecat, ? My hedgehogs were fed on cat food so maybe it gave them a bigger turd the other reason I suggested hedgehog was they were prone to leave there shit in the same place like mustalids which made it quite easy to litter train them, I,m afraid my third sense which would be to open one and sniff it and examine the contents is obviously missing, but I would think if it was a small mustelid polecat/stoat or weasel it would contain lots of tiny bone and some fur were as a hedgehog would be more paste like from worms, snails and a few berry,s one
-
If it's not a bird very possibly a hedgehog, I,ve reared a few and that looks very familiar

This thread is like the kids nursery rhyme the empora,s cloth,s

My missus works in the clic charity shop so I get first dibs and even get to try before I buy, we feel better about ourselves because we are helping people less fortunate than us not because we are dressed better than them but as rusty says it's basically about what makes you happy

Strange question but if I must, it has allowed me to live mortgage free, for the last seven years and work two or three days a week instead of seven as I used to, I own everything that's mine and have nothing on the book to pay for, a pocket full of dollar gives you many more choices than a Pringle jumper and a pair of pods which are more about feeding people's insecurity,s and making them feel there shitty life is slightly better than it really is, but that's another subject, I basically value my time above material things and put everything down to how many days of my life will it cost, IE t
