Hot and cold mate if it’s muscles, hot water bottle for 5 then frozen peas for 5, if it’s disc and nerve damage just dose up on pain killers and keep on going staying mobile is all important and slowly you will kill off the feelings in your nerves which is what has happened to me, very very high pain threshold and very little feelings in comparison to most people, good luck and stay positive because it gets much worse if you allow it to drag you down ????

Here you go mate as promised, the handle on the big section has to be turned 180 degrees by drilling out the rivet that holds it in place and re doing it on the other side, then trim the arm support end to suit and the adjustable foot end as well, gives you around 6” to 8” of adjustment if you want me to send it to you to pull apart let me know and if not Walt you are welcome to it mate as I have to be a bit ruthless with space now I live on a boat ??

Ok in the last week I,ve seen a barn owl hunting during daylight watched a beautiful male sparrowhawk out hunting and 3 roe all on my daily walk and this morning before driving back to Bristol for my babysitting duty’s I saw a lesser spotted woodpecker hiding in a hedge from the bitterly cold east winds all puffed up looking more like a blackbird than a woodpecker which was a first, also see ravens most days but they seem to be doing better than most so no longer a rarity, over the years I,ve seen bitterns water rails and a red fronted grebe which was quite plain and boring but exceptionally r

Have seen a pure white blackbird, a pure white magpie and a lamaguire vulture wild in the u,k, but really can’t top seeing a fecking great big black cat stalking along a hedgeline in Dorset in sept 2015 which rather changed my life ????????

Many years ago a mate of mine had an Irish greyhound from racing stock that refused to run the electric hare, but was great as a worker would lamp,course and retrieve to hand, he had always wanted to do a red so booked a cottage in Scotland and went up the greyhound coursed and pulled down a red stag, mate had to jump in the river and finish the stag with a knife as it was a bit of a stalemate and both were physically fecked but he achieved his goal, but some times getting your dream come true can be a nightmare, had mates that used to travel out to Lundy island to do rabbits once a year, but

Diet seems very seasonal mate, spring summer definitely small stuff as you suggest good for teaching your young to hunt as well but come winter a deer a week is much easier to catch, I have never found an eaten out deer before September or after March same seems to happen with the odd sheep that go as well ??

Designer breeds mate, it’s a savannah cat I think, cross with a serval and a domestic, second crosses can be bought and sold same as a house cat but first crosses are licensed like a dangerous animal, it’s all more genes into whatever we already have here ???

I,ve seen two black Fox’s, have a little vid somewhere of one I caught on a trail cam, but top trump goes to a mate of mine that has a spotty otter stuffed, I think he said it’s known as a royal otter or some such normal brown coat covered in white spots ??

I was going to suggest a starship when I saw your opening line, both my shoulders are pretty f****d from 40 yrs plastering, falling down a cliff and dislocating one side then chuck in a good dose of Arthritis and I know my inevitable finally will be starships only think an extended Diablo with wrist brace would work well but any of the ones I,ve used are a lot easier on the shoulders than a normal fork set up, and quite a lot more powerful, I have a spare crutch one in my man cave you are welcome to if you want to have a play with it, it’s adjustable in length as I keep the adjustable bit of t

Have bought a few bits and peace’s to give it a go but not got round to it just yet still moving stuff about and trying to find homes for it all so half my gear hasn’t even been unpacked yet, seems a really good technique for fishing round structure ??

Here you go I use the same technique for flats or tubes find it lasts much longer than tuck and wrap you will need a little block to hold the pliers open while you thread your elastic ??and a couple of catttys finished off ??

Seeing a lot of people drop shooting around the place at the moment I often find when the predators get hammered they tend to become nocturnal as most people fish first light till tea time in winter so the first hour of dark works good for me in the past, the predators get a bit of a walloping outside the marina as they have pike perch and zander to go at, then throw in a couple of tv programs made and some poorly kept secret massive fish it’s a bit of a free for all at the moment, up to ten predator anglers in a 100 yard stretch ?

The marina I,m in has been crystal clear during the cold weather and the shoals of roach and Rudd under the boats is quite impressive, but hiding in the silt you can see the striped backs laying half buried on the bottom, tried tripping lures across them no movement at all so an evening on the prawns might be on the cards, still lots of sorting out to do so only grabbing the odd hour here and there at the moment, but once I,m properly ensconced I,ll be giving it a proper go, heard of a 36lb pike caught just outside the marina recently and a few 20s, lots of people fishing at the moment due to
