I did look into it myself, and there are many rules to the game have to move every 48 hrs, use a phone a cash machine etc so the odds are a bit more against you than if you could just disappear off grid and pop up at the end,it’s still doable just not as easy as you think ?

If you don’t know what style you shoot get one that takes bands ott ttf and tubes, like a scout or Snyd scout from eBay then when you find the style that suites you buy a decent one, I would personally avoid gamekeeper John he’s a fat wanker but if you want one of his cattys buy it from proshot, John is only interested in his ply cutouts because of the profit, his delivery’s can take months and he won’t respond to emails once you’ve paid him, have a watch on YouTube of catapult carnage Chris is a good lad and does some good reviews on most of the popular makes, ??

Had one of these in my last boat mate very similar if it’s just a small stove your after highly recommend it he makes them to order with or without a back boiler also worth having a large top plate put on if you want to cook on it ?

Just taken some 100plus year old beams out an old shed I,m converting to a bed sit, each lump will burn for nearly two hours with lots of heat, plus a couple of bags of sawdust to keep going overnight ??

Here’s one of the clips from the podcast, the family have gone from total sceptics to investing a couple of grand on thermal that they are now thinking of upgrading, probably only a Labrador but they have seen it 8 times now, hats off to them for proving it for themselves ?

Buy a couple of piglets, stick an arc down for them to sleep in and when they are big enough to make bacon the bracken will be gone ground turned over and fertilised and you,ll get a few quid and some nice cuts of pork ??

Have had chainsaws from the 1970s upto present day and would always buy sthil, they have been doing it for decades and have it pretty sewn up, I sold my 70s chainsaw a few years ago to a bloke in New Zealand still going to this day and still able to buy spares for it, so I would also go with the Sthil, if I wanted a cordless drill probably use the other makes mentioned ??

We have a Mikita one at work seems ok on stuff upto about 6” but as with all chainsaws it’s about keeping the chain sharp rather than blunt it then resharpen, just out of curiosity why do you need to be stealthy your only foraging a bit of free wood, I keep a sthil 16” petrol in my van at all times chop up bits 2/3 days a week on my travels never had any problems, if it looks a bit naughty I just put some cones out and get my hi viz on and everyone assumes I,m the man from the council ??

Quite a bit of thermal footage coming out over the last year, trouble is without scale it’s a bit worthless, but I believe the blokes misses and dog go out to the same spot in that one, I was out with rick last week saw some pretty compelling pics he had on his laptop that should be going on there over the next few months ??

Bobcats are a South American thing we have lynx very similar, make up around 5% of sightings in the uk and yes I would say they count, basically anything capable of taking an adult roe counts ??
