    Nobody I know that has had to pay P,O,C have been let off or given a choice, but in that article it says pay the money or do the bird, in which case I’d be off up the big house, last mate of mine that got collared was ordered to pay 96k and when he tried to plead poverty the police said we know how much you have made and if you don’t pay the 96 we will come after the full amount, which they estimated around 1/2 a million, he suddenly found 96k sharpish but had a to do two year as well, as nicepix said they are just interested in raising revenue ?

    It’s still £400k or two years,pretty easy choice really a year off with good behaviour,, unless you can earn that kind of money on the out may as well pack your monopoly board fill your butt and have a year off ??

    I,ve done a bit of magnet fishing as I live on a boat and a strong magnet on a string is an esencial piece of kit for keys glasses and other bits that fall in, but as dido says the only other things I’ve found are rusty nails, and fishing hooks ?

    Quite a few boys I no that were into poaching years back are now into hawking, greater rewards for lower risks basically, I bought my misses a metal detector when we moved onto the boat as there is a lot of Roman occupation around here and a few spots on the Severn the soldiers used to cross at low tide, we just haven’t had time to go out and use it yet ??

    Interesting little fact mate the shape of a birds eyes seems to dictate nocturnal activity the robin has round eyes and will sing all night long, the blackbird has slightly less but still round eyes and is the next to join the dawn chorus, the rounder the eyes the more nocturnal seems to be the norm, don’t know if there is any science in that but it seems to be true ??

    I had sciatica for years mate been on a traction table that was very good, had epidural injections but my first line of attack is stick a bag of frozen peas on it for as long as you can bare, then swap it for a hot water bottle, a couple of times a day does wonders ?

    Have a listen to the bloke that took these pictures mate, 12 hours a day for 5 years, and if he got 12 seconds of footage in a week he was chuffed, I,m not very clued up on tinternet but you can do a reverse internet search on macs picture and it will tell you were it came from, I had it done a few pages back with the mountain lion allegedly taken in Yorkshire, reverse search showed the photo was origanly taken in the states even gave the name of the bloke that took it

    , macs is quite a good pic which is why sandy is going for the next line of defence when a clear pic comes up, oh it’s in another country, this is why the perfect pic everyone wants is only a smal part of the picture, data gathering dna and the tooth pit analysis side of it is far more important, I stuck up a pretty clear photo of puma a few pages back, no one said a word I am assured it was taken in England but can offer no proof of were so it’s pretty meaningless, anyways even though it’s all a load of old bollox and I,m lying I,ve just been asked to go on bbc radio Gloucester and record a p

    There is one of these in a bungalow near me the only one I’ve ever seen in the flesh and it’s probably close to 3ft at the shoulder, the animal in the pic is 22” ?

    No jaguars, but a few lynx, jaguars are to specialised in there hunting and would not blend in, the other 3 will eat anything from grasshoppers to deer and live in a vast array of environments and temperatures ??

    Right this is we’re it all goes wrong, you seem to think everyone is out to con you, the lady never said what you just did and she has been one hundred percent honest and up front all the way through unlike many eye witnesses, the animal is exactly what she snapped in this car park now stop trying to make out every one is lying to you, take my word the pic is 100% genuine then through a process of elimination try and say what it is, the definition is exactly what an adult male would have nothing special, but also indicates an active life rather than one sat in a cage being fed ??

    Funny the picture is one of the first on this thread and to me it is only one thing, it’s not a dog,deer fox or badger and it has been scaled to show it’s exactly the right height and length of a leopard, I know were it was taken definitely in the uk and it’s a known hotspot for sightings, obviously other people see something different and for some they just like to try to look good by trying to turn everything into an argument, the animal is 22” at the shoulder with a body length of 33”, so without turning this into the normal nonsense can anyone give a good alternative as to what it could be

    I have a pike fly outfit, it’s saltwater fly rod heavy line wire leader and flys they look like Christmas decorations, plus side seems to get takes even when the fish have been hammered on lures on the downside need room for the backcast and not good on windy days, but a useful string to your bow and very exiting watching the takes ??
