    Hey guys. I decided to include the ferrets in today’s walk out with the dogs, went up the road to a local spot where there is plenty of room to run the mutts, and there is the odd bunny getting about. Only did two burrows and had one in the net in no time on the first, second one was empty I should of listened to the dogs. Young Zip who is now 13mths, is still quite puppyish in the mind, continues to improve, and impress, her prey drive is through the roof and she is doing pretty well for a young dog.     I Just bred another one of mine to a mates buck. He had a few of his stolen off the back of his ute, he went into a shop came out and the whole lot was gone. I said dw mate breed with mine you can have the lot.

    These days if a dog walks through my door, he has a mate for life come what may. If he/she can’t do the job anymore for whatever reason, they get retired from the work, but remain part of the family. Everyone is different, when I was young and had 12 or so working dogs at any one time if they couldn’t feed themselves they were gone, so I understand both sides, Funny how you can change
