  1. I have a friend in N.S.W who has been breeding pure and 3/4 whippet/stags for 30 years, old line hunting stock, all working, and can be seen on the job, I can give you their number if you like. Its where I get mine from

  4. Hey guys! I took the dogs & ferrets out for a run today. Now that the weather is cooling a bit. I will be doing a lot more ferreting and a lot less spotlighting Had an enjoyable couple of hours at a local spot, never too many there, but a nice open easy place to run the dogs, and it’s just up the road. I managed to get three, one the dogs caught and two in the long net, below is a couple of snaps I took, I’ll post the video when it’s uploaded.

  7. Hey guys took the dogs, ferrets and the camera out today, to a local spot, just to give the dogs a run, managed to bolt a couple, dogs got a few runs without any luck. I always enjoy getting out and about, getting a rabbit is always just a bonus for me. Here is a quick vid of a couple of Missed Opportunities
  8. Is the ACD not a popular lurcher x over there? I don't think I've ever even seen a pure one let alone a x,so have no idea about them. used a lot in pig dog crosses ( scrub nose dogs) not so much in dogs for speed the kelpie is a better option for that. I have put a few of my old acd x bull up in posts on here. couple of acd crosses here, and a nice deerhound grey up the back the cream coloured one.
  9. Deerhound x greys (staghound) in this country are killer you Fd up a great breed over there, kept to many lap dogs. Shame
  10. Would be a fast sheep dog :-) Dont like collie x's much, rather use Kelpie if ya need hearding dog in the mix, much better in many ways than a collie jmo

  16. ¾ whippet ¼ stag (staghound = Deerhound x Greyhound) are a popular choice for rabbit dogs here, they are renowned for their soundness. I prefer the long-haired variety myself as stated get from working parents.
