    got to agree with what tom and Charlie have said.. tom did a mint walkthrough on what he did to his and for the money they make a great riffle. one thing thats not been mentioned and from what I can gather it not an issue on all of them but it was on mine... is the galling issue, mine was fine for maybe 50 shots then when the grease on the cocking shoe is displaced it starts! villaman on here mentioned it to me cos he's known of a few doing it... its an easy fix but if you don't address it will damage the piston and comp tube!

    Not a clue Mitch... I’ve tuned/ fettled all sorts of stuff and never charged a penny! if I do anything for the shop I get to grab a handful of pellets or other bits n bats! nice work on the 100+ crow yesterday?

    Cheers for the kind words lads....exept you Mitch ?only kiddin! this is basically a hobby as I’m a subby bricklayer and get rained off a lot. Archie hit the nail in the head with what he said? ...the smaller the exit hole the better but unless you’ve got access to seriously expensive kit you have to make the most of what you’ve got, the smaller ones to knock the edge off a springer or shrouded barrel don’t need as tighter exit as a standard pcp and there’s less chance of them clipping.. where as the pcps need to be on the money at 7mm things have to be spot on and I’ve set up

    I bet it grows on you bn... I think the black stock suits the rifle better! I wasn't keen on the wild cat's looks or the black stock but its grown on me and im glad I never got a wooden stock... I shoot at night on farms and come home covered in sh1te and the rifles just as bad from slopping/wading through massive puddles.. thats when you'll like the wipe clean stock

    got to confess the stocks do look boring... this is a new 97 I stripped the stock and darkened it up! and me 95 easy to do

    ive had prosports/tx,s and the only springers I own now are hw's.... the 95 is a mint springer! I see you mentioned the earlier models/mark1 but they have a barrel weight where the newer ones are threaded for a mod. id go for then newer lux one, there a pice of pi55 to work on and short of a bit of spring attention great out of the box
