  1. Will try late September provided its cold enough and I don't get younguns running through my nets,as that normally means a lot of lay ups digging the dogs tend to eat the young they catch so end up with worms. Also lot of the places I go you need a few hard frost to kill off the greenery so you can get to the holes Atb
  2. come on you got a do better than that, if the camera has been in place for three years do you not think someone would have noticed a cat shaped tree trunk a little sooner, you have to realise there would be hundreds of piccys taken over the years and every leaf and twig in the frame will be known to the camera owner, so what ever it is it was 100 percent walking past the camera Shame he didn't shoot it with .243 then we would know we seem to be going backwards here a little bit have you ever made a video of you doing pad work? Well to me if it was a mammal or reptile its physical appearance

  5. Cows milk certainly gave mine the shits,he had cheap basics pork and beef mince bought frozen from supermarket, that was thawed in puppy milk, he always had a rabbit to chew on and always water and eukanuba puppy. Now 64lbs on lunatic
  6. Mate kept track dogs (when there were tracks about) he had pup from Ireland was a fast dog first couple of races it won and so did we. While trainer exercised dog it pulled a deer, then another how ever he became biter on track would run to front then turn and bite then knocked up a toe so he went. Reckon that was a track dog that would of been a good one to cross. Cheers

  10. yes some fantastic footage in that mate must admit it took things to a new level we are quite spoilt now I can remember hiring videos of Des tailor at cuttle mill I had access to a lot of waters that have since become well famous ( and bloody expensive to fish) Local surrey waters mate? Yes mate finished up on an army syndicate catching 60+ year old leny strain I even bought a house that backed onto that one.
  11. yes some fantastic footage in that mate must admit it took things to a new level we are quite spoilt now I can remember hiring videos of Des tailor at cuttle mill Yeah I was well into my fishing back in the early nineties and living where I was I had access to a lot of waters that have since become well famous ( and bloody expensive to fish) I once met Des Taylor he was a giant of a man. Things have changed a lot since then. Remote controlled boats ffs
  12. Yeah dirty Bob, also heard that they argued off camera through out the series.
  13. A passion for angling Chris Yates and Bob James, for me the best TV fishing show made. Nothing I have seen over the years comes close. Will have a look at this monster carp, but as said Macey and hamedi I just find irritating.
  14. I have a challenger same thing really it has a 2.8 which has a can chain rather than a belt like the 2.5. Really check the cooling system for bubbles in header tank as the alloy heads are known for cracking. Good luck
  15. Bread on the surface in weedy lakes is a good tactic mate provided there's not to many birds on water. I used to fish a 57acre lake the same way drop bread in a few swims and watch for ten minutes if they not there then move round till you find them sometimes I had a couple of twenties out in an hour, using that method then walk pass the bivvy boys who would camp for 48hour and catch nothing. Atb
  16. Sounds like you have it sussed with freelined bread, maybe run some musulin up your line. Good luck
  17. Had similar, but it was a case of over working his lungs. Atb
  18. To me its a running dog with a rough coat long enough to hide its physic. Camouflaged coat so it hard to see As long as it fills the pot don't really matter how its bred. Not like my dog although their were some real hairbags in his litter
  19. I feed mine up the night before I take them out usually front half of rabbit but don't suffer many lay ups Only flesh they not like is Charlie which is a shame:)
  20. You pays your money aye Still a handy light weight lamp mine stays in truck handy for a roadside recce Atb
  21. Why nl ? I reckon the beam is a bit too narrow on the one I have, l find it hard to track a moving small target.
  22. I use 8lb mono 18 inch hooklink size 4 drenham continental needle threaded threw 3rd of a tin of tulip
  23. Spawning perhaps Walshie, they knock the crap out of them selves just to release their spawn mate Or could be jumping to flush gills and grab a bit of oxygen. Keep an eye on them because this heat is a killer for pond fish Atb
