As a lad I worked in grey kennel's, and if their was a faller beyond repair at the local horse tracks it would be bought and fed to dogs saw a complete head boiled with veg for a day then served up it was considered the best you could give them at the time. It smelt real good too

Shepherd's choice 8 quid a 15kg bag shit is quite sold dog troths the lot. Seems quite happy on it. He still has raw 3 times a week even if I have to buy it.

We have some real big burys that are thick with cover that we leave because when that one fills up they move out to the smaller ones that we do every year. What's your reason for leaving that one NL

Nice open land you have there NL Most of mine is wooded and has a lot of birds on the ground so can't get going really till end of January I'm trying to get on a bit of MOD land which has nice open burys, have worked it before and had good numbers.

Love my ferrets I go outside whistle and they come running out I can watch them for hours beats the TV I got one with a phantom pregnancy and she seems to think the others are her kits and trys to carry them to nest lol Fine looking bunch you have there NL

If I have something that is slow to heal up I put dermagel on before working just to keep out infection then bath clean with saltwater.

My Mrs has hatched a few she done the the deaths heads and Indian moon moths. Think they died in less than a week Interesting though. She has also done a bee keeping course as we want a couple of hives next.
