I must admit that I have lost some shooting mojo this winter and moved to use the shotgun a bit more which has been really nice however we need to get round our perms or they will wonder if we are still interested. Phil

Long time since we had you on here Pav, nice to have you back. Phil

I have made this type and found them to work just fine But I use an old carry strap instead of platting the parachord, just me being lazy. ? ? ? Ah, right, well I am a little slow at times.....................it's an age thing. Been on there a couple of times but not keen, I think I asked questions that were outside deer shooting so therefore I was a plonker which may well be true but I didn't need some twat I don't know suggesting that. Only been on PW a few times and found it to be either boring as hell or full of keyboard warriors however I just cannot workout what bloody site SD is, at first I thought it was our SausageDog, SD, but that made no sense which is rather like me, making no sense quite often ? but in this case I need a PM or something to put me out of my misery and tell me what the hell SD stands for.....................??????? I also have given a helping hand to a lad wanting to get some land and so we took him a few times only to find that he then offered the farmer some cash if he could shoot the pigeon BUT on an exclusive basis. As it happened the farmer told him to fcuk off so no harm done but it does show that there are some assoles out there who are ready to shaft the people who helps them. Phil

100% agree Si

I don't think these two chaps would agree with you. BASC is not there for it's members in a legal capacity so lets just throw them to the wolves as they have thrown us it's members or in my case, ex member. The point here must be to have the legal support to not only stand our ground but to attack the very action we as license holders seem to face if these are chaps are anything to go by. Phil

I charged my new Pard battery and it lasted no time at all so I bought a new charger which is far better, no problems at all now. Phil

A good read Ian.

Good inforation thank you. Looking forward to getting some lead up the spout.

Thank you for that Bernhard, all new ground to me. It will be very interesting to see what drop I get at 150 - 200mt, not that it matters as I will expect holdover to be coming into play but curious to see when that is as people rave on about zero at 100 and still at point of aim at 200 ................................. nah, can't see that at all but I would bet a few quid that is why a number of blokes buy into hmr, I have heard that in the rfd a number of times but who knows perhaps I am wrong although I doubt it. The weather is looking good for the next few days so with a bit of luck I

As a matter of interest guys, what range do you normally set zero at for hmr, I had thought about 75 - 100mt. I set all the guns in the 25mt range, now I switched the scopes around, just to get a start point and now waiting for the high winds and rain to bugger off. We had a drive round a number of our perms yesterday to see where would be ideal for 100mt out to 200mt trying to find somewhere in the lea of the wind which in Lincolnshire is not easy. Our sheltered quarry perm which is full of trees is a good place but limited on range and we found some great spots but the wind was quite stro

Just as a matter of interest, take a look at the link which is an archive of gunmakers and on page 37, you will see a Lightwood FW who had a shop in Grimsby, Brigg and Market Rasen. As time went by, the shop in Brigg was known as Leonards which I think could have been originally Lightwoods, that shop was a reloading centre so my curiosity suggests they may be the makers of your spinner. You never know !!! https://archivingindustry.com/Gunsandgunmakers/directory-l.pdf By the way very nice finish to those cartridges ? Phil

I have never watched a centre fire round being reloaded from start to finish as I don't have centre fire but nevertheless I thought it was bloody good, well done that man. Phil

I stand to be corrected BUT I think Cheddite make them under licence so may be worth talking to Malmo Guns as they are the importers of Cheddite and really helpful people. They will know if I am right but it must be said............................I have been wrong on the very odd occasion ? Phil

So how did you get the rfd to get it sent back again after all the aggravation when they said it was fine because I got the impression they were no longer prepared to be involved. Whatever I am pleased you are getting somewhere with it. Phil
-
I'm lost here Jake, must have missed something. I thought you had no joy with AA after sending it back and all the trouble at the gun dealer, have you sent it back to Air Arms yourself or through another dealer. Phil

I must admit whilst our squirrel shoot only yeilds a fraction of Mitch's perm, but out of the dozen farm perms we have, we get a few bags of wheat from each for nowt so it builds up to see us through the season on pheasants and squirrels. Phil

Ditto, I bought these for both .177 and .22 at different times and you are spot on DB, it saves a lot of money. If I didn't find a suitable pellet in this lot, the gun would have been sold ? Phil

WHAT GUN...................................I can't see a gun Jimmy, you been drinking again. ? Phil -
Only available in .177 I believe which is a pity as most people say how good they are. You can also get H&N in sample packs as well so you can save a fair bit of money just to establish if they work well enough in your gun Jake, I think Voymir sell those as well. JSB Diabolo Exact Test Airgun Pellets cal .177 7 x 50pcs - Airgun Pellets UK - Voymir VOYMIR.COM JSB Diabolo Exact Test Airgun Pellets cal .177 7 x 50pcs H&N Six-pack cal .177 4.5mm Sampler Set Hunting Pellets - Airgun Pellets UK - Voymir

Buy a JSB sample tin which has 7 types or sizes of pellet and well worth it. Voymir sell them. Phil

If it is anything like Jimmy's, it will be spot on mate. Phil

I did a swap round of scopes last night in order to use my new Pard 007v so my two Hawke Airmax Compact 30 scopes are now on my Tikka .22lr and Sako Quad hmr as the bloody Pard doesn't like either my Hawke Varmint or MTC Mamba Lite scopes. I thought I could get away with using my Wildcat Panther .22 mod on the hmr but my god it was so noisy, a quick rumage in the drawers of the rfd and I took 5 assorted mods to test, the best was a .17 Wildcat Panther which had come in with a pile of stuff. £40 notes and I have a cracking mod and much better than £160. ? ?
