  1. Welcome aboard Dafid but after ten years I doubt if Cedric will see your post. Phil
  2. He is on facebook if you don't find a number. Phil
  3. Very good. Did you fit the reg yourself. Phil
  4. Well don't bloody sell this one Jimmy. Phil
  5. This morning, after giving the barrel a final clean I decided to run a string of shots to see how many were on zero before starting to drop off zero. Now my garden is only 15mt which is not strictly ideal but nevertheless I thought it a worthwhile task, not that it was a task and that I have to tell you it blew me away, 6 mags in and still on point of aim, that is 60 shots, I then put up individual spot targets with a 4mm spot..................... 7 mags and just on point. I filled the gun to 230bar and it is now just about on 100bar so now I started to see the drop off and at 78 shots point
  6. Well for some time I have been wanting a sub12 for close shooting on ferals, corvids and rats but as this type of shooting is not a big part of my shooting, I was not keen on spending too much money on this gun and as I have been renewing a fair bit of my fishing gear, the pension will not go very far so the search began a week ago. I had an HMR 17 rifle that was not getting used at all so a deal was required in order to secure a sub 12 for me. First gun on test was a rather nice Zbroia straight pull gun in .177 with a really nice stained black stock. One of my Airmax Compact scopes was
  7. Cracking Jimmy, simply cracking. Phil
  8. Hw are not regarded as very good fac gun in pcp, we do have a couple of seriously good springer shooters, one of which loves his hw80 in fac but generally very few people buy them in pcp and they do not make a .25 cal gun.
  9. Both .22 and .25 are superb but we all like different things but for me the .25 is far better however for that cal you need a good air tank such as the Impact, Crown , Maveric or Wildcat BT to offer the shot count. As an example my Impact gave me 90 shots per fill which was very useful when ratting as we could take 60 a night and pigeon shooting at times. I think my Wildcat in .22 give around 60 shots per fill and in .25 that drops to 30 shots per fill whereas the BT version in .25 is back up to 60 shots per fill. So yoou need to have a think about what you really want and how it will
  10. Air Maks guns do a fold down which is way better than Air Arms but not cheap but there again neither are the TDR guns.
  11. I have been shooting fac air for about 7 years now and I can tell you they are very underated. I have a .22 FX Wildcat at present and an FX Impact .25 before that and both are superb with the .25 being nothing short of awsome taking rabbits out to 125mt (lasered) using pellets as it was not a slug barrel so shudder to think what the slug would perform like. Are they worth the variation HELL YES and don't let anyone tell you otherwise and those that do usually have never owned one. My .25 was just as good as my rimfire and with the later barrel or slug liner, people are shooting rabbits
  12. No can't help you there but as this was his first post, I am guessing he joined purely to get someone to shoot his rabbits so perhaps he now has somebody and will not be back on again.
  13. Welcome aboard Randy, make yourself at home. Phil
  14. Oh yes, already starting to fcuk the average pensioner by stopping winter fuel allowances, set of twats. Phil
  15. Right Gaffer, on reflection, I thought my comment could be out of order so I did a bit of digging and came up with a review you and others may find useful or at least I found it interesting. Are you selling the gun with or without the scope/nv unit and yes you can pm me a price and the area you live. Phil
  16. There is a selling section on here gaffer and that is where you need to put it to get seen. To be honest Stoeger do not enjoy a good reputation although in fairness that is mainly due to the quality of their springers, yours may be spot on, however that will have a reflection on the price you might get. Good luck with it mate. Phil
  17. Not tried one Jimmy nor any knowledge of them although one comment I heard in the rfd was that they are heavy. It is not a make that seems to hit the headlines any more with all the chinese units that are available but I do recall issues with software updates on one of the other models but to be honest send Ianb a message as he will know, that is his business. Phil
  18. BUT you have lived a sheltered life Jason............................... Phil
  19. This is the one I was talking about Jimmy as I cannot find the one I had so perhaps I have already given it away. Dr Bobs Buddy Bottle Bipod Mount - 50mm or 60mm WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Dr Bobs Buddy Bottle Bipod Mount. Fit two, one for a sling and one for the bipod..............
  20. I find because people spend big on FX, Gaystate, AGT etc etc etc, these accessories are not regarded as too expensive for someone spending upwards of £2k but I agree they are feckin expensive, it was just to see if any of them would answer your issue Jimmy. On FX Impact and Rapid bottles, you can fit to the bottle a Dr Bobs ring clamp so perhaps you could do the same on your Reximex. I actually got in touch with the importers of FX at that time (ASI) who gave me the green light to go that route. I might still have the ring in my bits n bobs drawer, if so mate I will send it up for you to try

  22. Where did you get the extended weaver rail from jimmy
  23. Put a photo of the under side Jimmy, is there a weaver rail under the action near the trigger as it may take one of the specialist FX accessories sold on 'Airgun 101' channel so if you have not looked there, I think you should. Phil
