Well decided to lift the Second Early's ( Charlotte ) for two reasons. First I could see a touch of Blight and they are only six foot from the tomato's in the Green house and I don't want it getting in there. Secondly I need that bit of ground for some Leeks that are ready to go in. So with the 3lb I dug two days ago and touch over 14lb today I'm happy with that. Cheers Arry -

Bloody hosepipe ban we and some light rain the other day but dried as fast as it fell. Just seen air b&b can use hosepipe because they are a business. SWW are bloody useless ban on for nearly a year now. Cheers Arry

About a week ago I topped a Squirrel that was trashing the feeders and threw in in the compose bin. Shows how quick the birds learn maggots started crawling out of a hole in the top. A fledgling Robin and a Blackbird as well as a fledgling Blackbird al visiting the top of the bin for a feed, so went got the camera. Cheers Arry

Been few years now mate just chucking seed I harvested from here there and every where. Put cup fulls of Foxglove seed and its like dust just to get half a dozen, soil is crap mind. Oxeye Daisy's and Purple Toad flax seen to do the best along with Wild Carrot. There is some Ladies Bed Straw and Meadow Sweet coming and I have sown some Tufted Vetch in pots hoping to get some of that to grow. Threw a load of Red and White Campion seed in last year no sign of them but think they maybe biannual so maybe next year. It's an on going project. Cheers Arry
