    Had a bull x that was no hill hunter but let him loose in some of the big forestry blocks around here and he'd find you a deer every time you'd be surprised how far they travel and how far they don't sometimes. Nowt better than getting up a rise in the land and seeing the dog a long way off head down tail high game in the bag??

    As said if it's the muscle needs stitching your gonna need someone who's confident and knows what there doing. It will heal eventually if left but you'll have to keep it very clean.

    Those Simmons optics. So wish I had one. Think its the granite look. Had aloft of guns but that was one of the best setups I've ever owned shot a HELL of a lot of game with that gun only thing I never shot with it were rabbits or hares anything else upto geese were fair game

    Shot plenty of pheasants with a 12ft/lb gun. Like most things you hit the head neck or lungs it's coming down. Allways took me old dog when I was on the birds. All taken legally in the day on permission.

    Thing is lads you break your ankle or pull a muscle you can get a good idea of the injury and best way to heal up Depression is a little bit different never suffered with it myself for any longer than a few day but I do know of manic depressives that can't make a cuppa in the morning without breaking down. I think tysons done well to get this far if his mind ain't right

    Cheers buster I prefer to run the dogs n not my mouth im honest as I can be sometimes I take him out n he looks world class catching everything with ease other days he's gotta really work hard aslong as he can kill me a good un or 2 winter time I'm happy. Lurcher lad you can see the buddy stamp a mile off seen some real good dogs down from buddy all had heart and could take abit of stick you'll do well with them ?
