  3. Striker n blits are good lamps but I've had nothing but trouble with the variable striker. Them handheld ones are ok plr500 beam is narrow not so good for running dogs unless your on big flat ground. Dl100 is an ok lamp but mine burnt out so in the end I decided to get a decent battery and striker. Happy with it when it works ok just not so pleased with the wiring. Best of luck whatever you choose ??

Right lads abit pissed off as bought a striker variable first night out worked for 30 seconds then nowt me n me mate bodged it got it working for another half an hour before it went again in a different place inside the handle. Never had any of these problems with deben tracers only light force. Anyone got a simple guide to a rewire ? Cheers
  9. I know what you mean lads every man in the country probably has a few decent hares around him but I'm talking of a different level I think it's more luck and determination that kills these. I've heard coursing lads talk of mr right not them that die in a minute or 2 them that just don't die and give the best of dogs A hard time. Me mate who does a few hares reckons his best daytime run he's ever had on the same place. It's no coincidence for some reason there toppers just wondered if anyone had an ideas to why.
  10. Fair play to youse lads you get out and do a proper job on them rabbits. Well done the dogs n men ??

  13. had a few runs last night with a few different people few things got ran some cracking catches. Tho I got thinking about hares why is it you can go somewhere with a couple of good hare killing dogs kill a few in one field yet go 2 minutes down the road and there in a class of there own not one or 2 but every one you slip on is hard one and drags your dog all over ? anyone got any ideas from experience ?
  14. No worries mate it's a pleasure as allways should've stayed out we had a goodun in the end looking forward to seeing the cream crocodile go again ??
  15. I know a few asian lads that keep good dogs and good chickens. Me dad knows an old Sikh fella that done a fair bit of coursing in his younger days. I know a feller who into his protection dogs apparently a lot of the Asian lads are getting into that game now and are buying good blood. Also know a malasian that has forgot more than I'll ever know about injuries to dogs.
  16. He's gonna be a nice animal when he's matured ??
  17. I know a lad who's got some real good footage he reckons it's not so much the camera quality it's the light quality you need so whoevers filming needs a lamp and obviously whoevers working dog has a lamp. I could be wrong as I don't film much just what I've been told.
  18. I've bought a different setup but I've heard good things about them wild hunter batteries
  19. Looks pretty good variable lamp and lithium wild hunter battery for £150 bar must admit I'm tempted
