  1. Its full of messers inside it, real ugly ones
  2. Also the better glass helps sometimes when lamping, I've been out and spotted eyes, looked through a mates scopes and couldn't make out what it was, tried through different scopes and clear as day... CAT it does make a difference but the prices are a lot different too.... For general daytime shooting, it doesn't matter that much... but for poorly lit and sun glare times it makes a massive difference... I;ve looked through a MTC viper at a target and couldn;t see shit because of the sun with the sun shade on also... then looked at the same target with my centrefire with a swarovski on, no sun s
  3. No comparsion the S&B will be far better in low light, sun glare, sharpness and general build quality..Like all the premium brands i.e Swarovski, Leupold, Zeiss, schmidt and bender
  4. And Fizz off coronations street simoman lol

  5. Yep you won't go wrong using colins snares, I'd recommend woodga for any type of snare really...
  6. Look for gaps through hedges and fields including fences and under them, game trails through woods, gate openings, vehicle trails, water crossings, etc, etc anywhere which makes it easier for a fox to get from one area to another...place snares then fix using earth anchor or to adjacent objects, fence post, tree, etc....
  7. Just read the article, nothing of any meat in it really just some bloke with a break away style snare he will probably try and market for a fiver each I reckon.....He also states he boils his snares in tea bags..Whatever method floats your boat eh..!
  8. Nothings new with them breakaways they have developed a long winded method that costs money and is cumbersome... glenns style of design is cheap and easy to make yourself, and most of all has been tested in the field to work... the americans use quite a few different styles of breakaways and stops, etc have done for years so the GWCT are not reinventing the wheel..
  9. Looking well lads...........Bring on next season
  10. 17hmr or .22 LR.... .22 is the king.. always has been its probably the most widely owned rifle in the world and for a reason... When I want to shoot a few rabbits long range during daylight the .17, 90% of the time if I'm out shooting rabbits or lamping its the .22
  11. Rimfire I use a lightforce lance, for centrefire the striker... You can't beat them beam quality of the lightforce range..
  12. Anyone like the idea of a ferreting photo competition, winners prize is a copy of professional rabbit catching donated by James Bradley...
  13. Put up illegal posts and you will be removed..
  14. Yes clove hitch is most secure method
  15. Allow enough space on the run for the rabbits feet to pass under, if you set to low you will still snare the rabbit although probably around the body/chest area... On the two runs that fork out, set a peg or hoop snare over a beat, find a straight line of beats and place this directly over one of the smaller beats out in the field at the right height i.e 6 1/2" or more as required...
  16. I remember the article in the sporting shooter magazine, although its standard fence wire not high tensile that should be used...I think Danny must of made a boo boo .. There was another snaring article in shooting times magazine, they should have REAL people the likes of Phil, Colin and Glenn writing articles instead of the shite they posted recently with that nugget writing an article about 4 fingers high setting height and his snares were like an abortion looking at them.... nice ash pegs though
  17. Wouldn't like to walk and check my grouping using this baby...
  18. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/blog/talking_politics/article/1630/
  19. If you want to see women gobbling turds down, then go somewhere else this site is not for you..........theres plenty of other hunting related sites out there which may or may not allow it.... Theres no argument, if your not happy with the site or the way its ran... Quite simply don't come on no more
  20. People say you can't blame the parents.................. Yeh my f*****g arse, kids should know right from wrong, respect for their elders, etc, etc, we see it everyday around us, our society is on a major downward spiral, compared to 20,30,40 year ago.. big time... Tell you the truth nothing suprises people no more... Our own country is getting flooded by immigrants, our own kids are knocking kids out, the school system is a joke, loads of kids come out and can't read or write our own language?????? Theres more wayne and waynetta slobs everywhere chaved up to the max, completly sucking the c
