  2. Mate, a bull cross of the right type is unrivaled by anything barring perhaps a good wheaten cross.

  10. I'll travel anywhere mate if the offer is there. You don't know how your dog will fair till you've tried it . Completely different land to what I run but it wouldn't put me off coming. 150 yard slip and they need to catch it within a 200 yard field by me. You may get 5/6called into your feet a season . Should be easy pickings up by you lol

The training over here is poor and there is a money shortage and most training is only a couple of years and they use them the companies get a grant to train up the young with all the promises and at the end you Finnish agencies do the same promise you a good offer and still don't get awarded the ones from aboard are only here on a short stay then and the job is Finnished they pay them less and if they really had to stay here and pay their way like the rest of us then they may realise what rent and tax and paying bills like in the UK
  13. What is it? This is my only social media lol
  14. Fs why didn't they leave it here . Was a great thread
  15. Thought you were going to jack in the nights?

  17. That's why we need apprentices though not only to learn a trade but to learn to graft aswell. I don't know who's going to be building and engineering in a few years time. When I go to site I could be the youngest there and I'm 60.
  18. Coursing bull; Sire; Scout Dam; half cross bull / greyhound. I may be wrong and it may be the second cross, I’m sure someone will correct me ! LOL ! Cheers.
  19. Back to the farm pond with a mate and one of his friends as a guest. Said guest hauled in five small (five!) tench ,some decent rudd and what he described as a few small carp. Small maybe ,but they were the biggest carp ever caught in the pond ,albeit not much more than a pound each. He let slip he was actually an angling coach . It showed too . Far from being disillusioned by the size of the pond and its inhabitants he professed to having a grand time going back to his boyhood fishing roots. My mate caught his second ever tench so was pleased too. He'd just unhooked it
  20. Coursing bulls are a type of lurcher as identifiable and as unique as a coursing dog imho
  21. Today
  22. Saluki/bull/greyhound ; Decent all rounder day and night but died of a heart attack/stroke after a grueller on a hare. Cheers.
  23. No mate, I’ve killed pariah desert dogs with Salukis, but the desert dog is a worthless cur, only brave in a pack. Dan Edwards who was on here and lives in Illinois is the man for coyote dogs. Cheers.
