  3. They have an old saying in Oz,if you want to go out into the bush..take a land rover...if you want to get back...take a land cruiser ...if you know...then you know... I've seen more knob heads bogged down and plugged in the mud in land rovers,of every carnation ,than any other truck..there's drivers, and then theres screwdrivers...
  4. Used to do a bit of”dune bashing” in the Middle East deserts, Had the odd mishap, but nothing we couldn’t handle; Still , The Great Nafud and The Empty Quarter, two of the most inhospitable deserts in the world arent as dangerous as the arable flatland of Yorkshire ! Cheers.

  9. Pleased it’s worked for you, earlier in the year I had an ai fail with a greyhound. I’d actually been given the number for the lad who you went to but I went elsewhere, maybe should’ve went there after all. A mate also had a blank two weeks earlier from another greyhound, natural mating that time. Funny buggers. How come you lads didn’t go with max’s dog in the end if you don’t mind me asking?
  10. The rudeboy that pic was the funniest post I've ever seen
  11. Drove through forestry and native bush in this ancient pick up in New Zealand; Stopped of over night in hunters cabins, and again, never got stuck once. Cheers.

  13. Great stories lads. Personally I grew up right beside an estuary and at one time or another as youngsters we tried absolutely everything to get a few bob. We dug bait, raked cockles, picked winkles towed for mussells you name it. But our gold rush was gill netting bass and sea trout.. the hours we put in back then were crazy but it never seemed like work at the time we just loved being out there in the middle of the night and trying to sneak back in with our haul. We had a fair few near misses and you’ll never beat the drug of nearly being pinched. I was done twice and done 2 nights away the f
  14. Something to have a laugh at, particularly from the the lads who believe that they are crucified by H&S in construction in the UK. Behold, this is what some of my lads need to wear on one of our jobs. Long story short, some idiot drove his machine into electrical containment. I would get sacked if too much information was given so keeping it brief. After a month of back and forth, due to the location and function of the location it was agreed to carry out the work. My previso? Full arc flash PPE must be worn. I have carried out similar work many times over the years. The fa

  18. I know , I was thinking myself I was looking at the usual suspect models on a Facebook selling site and I was giggling at the amount of times the words “not from a dog owner “ was used in adverts. The secret code of “this won’t ping up “ have you seen the start of the film “Trespass against us” ?
  19. Thats a bit different to arable below seas level lol
  20. I was just going to ask if anybody had caught eels using wool. Blebbing they call it in Scotland. I've never done it but I've been told by older fisherman that they used to catch them by the hundred weight using that method. Shipped them off to Billingsgate by the sack load.
  21. And for anyone that's interested, Mark brick ain't the big baldy whippet guy covered in tats. That dubious distinction goes to Carl williams, with his bowline whippets etc. And the only thing big about the little twat, is his stupid fat head.
  22. Lol I'm talking to you like a mug ? Up to now tonight I've had to listen to you drive arable winter no bother and a dog can jog side of the motor all night lol What was I born yesterday ?
  23. Looks like Australia ? Drove a bit of land down there in my daughters Toyota LC; Never got stuck once ! LOL ! Cheers.
