We have to make it so accessible for capable locals. When I started in the NHS, almost 40 years ago, the suggestion of nurses with tattoos was outrageous, now it is commonplace, along with single parents etc. Local people should be enabled as far as possible, so that we don't have to depend on foreign labour.

Valuable animals pit ponies. I story that I was told growing up, to my shame I forget most of the details, but a disaster I think at Felling Colliery which was local. The pit owner turned up and instructed the rescuers to get the ponies out 1st, the boys can easily be replaced.

I'm not here to comment on the states. It's immoral and ridiculous for Britain to base it's provision of medical and care staff on importing them from abroad. Pray a big African bloke isn't the only option to look after your incontinent mother.
