    Hoopoe

Seen a hoopoe at Flamborough a few years back on the local bowling green , lovely looking bird and attracted a large crowd of bird watchers , so i can see why wildman wants the location keeping quite
  6. Agreed if your looking for working homes for them you can have a free line of this dog I have here he’s bred to the hilt you can come out see him run if you want as well we lined his half sister twice and she dropped good health litter in the summer there he’s the size your looking for and I’m in the Scottish Borders
  7. Lamb chops, lovely roasties cooked in beef dripping with bone marrow.
  8. Today
  9. The breeder we used for the stud dog was saying that most police dogs spend 10 hours a day in a box in the back of a car so they don't need any fancy working lines just a loud dog with a good off switch, he had some malis cross shepherd's that looked nice but he sed was hard work, he was an interesting bloke was explaining what different forces want in a dog etc and how they test them
  10. My nephew from the UK, now living in Perth has got a German Shepherd from working lines. It's a huge dog, almost pure black and he has trouble keeping it occupied. The Malis I've seen should only be owned by law enforcement or guarding air force bases and jobs like that, they are too much for almost anybody else. The nephew's dog has no genetic health problems though.
  11. Get in touch with the lad who’s greyhound igz used. There’s a greyhound stud topic recently with pictures of the dog and its peds on there I think
  12. Iv 2 shepherd's the mum is a straight back kc , and her daughter we used a stud from a bloke who bread police dogs he chose us a steady straight back dog to use , both dogs are great around kids n stock both very sensible and easy to live with n both guard the house n kids well
  13. If you got one there mate use that would be my 2 penneth
  14. Looks alright that does u complete dosser
  15. Seen the odd egret on some local lakes. Never seen an hoopoe in the wild and another bird that must be pretty rare as you never hear about sightings of it the wryneck.
  16. Plenty of hares about I'm seeing around 20 on a short walk, lying around in groups of 4, and odd 1s and 2s this place was lifting 30 year ago, then got hammered with lamping, and now they are coming back well Good to see, here's a few of my dosser pics at dusk Nice little pocket of healthy rabbits aswell
  17. German shepherd types and similar I've always had a liking for them, but with having the runners never looked into them properly and hearing about hip dysplasia and too much breeding for looks etc There was about 15 to 20 people in a 7 acre woodland when I saw the Mali so maybe he had enough going on to keep him quiet, and his owner had been away with him for a few hours, I'm not saying I would have a Mali myself, but if there is a shepherd type or some bloodline to look out for that is suited to being out in the countryside going for decent walks/travelling about and being at the woods
  18. Yesterday
  19. Same place your marbles are in the shop
  20. People drink people gamble people do shit I shake my head at i still get up everyday before most and do shit with my day a thought better of you than riding that tampon
  21. Going this week to look at an HW110k and an FX DRS classic, strap on a scope and test in the range or bring home to test. At the moment I am jumping from one gun to the other and back again but I think I will be buying the 110. I did look at a range of other guns , AGT, Daystate, Brocock, FX, Airmak etc etc but the prices now are feckin stupid with nothing really under a grand and for many thats second hand so we are looking at around £1500 for many of them and considerably higher. This market has just gone mad, to pay up to £2k for a sub 12 is bloody crazy. Phil
  22. Go to any track and you find a stud,I'd be looking for something that's already covered Deerhounds and producing the goods that's why I say call platts
  23. Not if he wants a genuine 3quater bred it doesn't,
  24. Maybe get in touch with Dave sleight or even Dave platts ,both men keep Deerhound xs and Dave sleight runs track dogs and both are involved in producing Deerhound lurchers that are fit for purpose.
