    I used to be able to get 6% on cash Isas. I used to tie them up for 3 or even 5 years and get more than 6%. I was happy with that. But since the financial crash cash ISAs barely keep pace with inflation. I prefer stocks and shares ISAs now tbh. Yes they go down in the short term, but the history of the stock market shows they always go up in the long term. I also have low risk ISAs.

    One of those silly cows in Government, I don't know their names apart from the dick in charge of them, making changes to cash ISAs that nobody asked for. The best thing for normal working people to save a little and keep it safe with a guaranteed small growth. Reducing the annual limit to try and force people to open stocks and share ISA's.     Show the other superpowers that they are technologically better, remember most great modern inventions come from arms races, wars etc then filters down to joe public, at the rate of the lazy non thinkers theyd just about have went from spear to walking stick
