Mate im house sitting for was on train behind this ,with mrs and 2 teen daughters ,was meant to pick them up from station ,all transport cancelled, provided cabs or offer of hotel

The “Fear Wave Effect “ of this incident has already kicked in.

LNER has told Newcastle fans who were going to travel by train to London for the West Ham game , not to travel as the trains are likely to be cancelled, delayed or diverted. 
This means that 1,000’s more people will be travelling by road, which will lead to more road traffic accidents.

An incident like this has far reaching effects.

Starmer has to come out and make a major statement, not just saying how he thanks the emergency services and how he feels for the victims.
