This dog was bred off a good dog from up the north there were a few good dogs in that litter few never saw old bones they were hard dogs though you didn't need to worry about getting them in it was the holding back that was the problem

Yes halfhound a very good line hard but did what they supposed to he always replaced a failure with a pup when it was returned he is a gent not spoken to him in a few years but he will be  a good age now

Yes I think his line goes back to buck and breys  rusty and bw Nancy back to one of his dogs and many  more good hard dogs were added

Well, this is a very long shot, especially as it's in the the lurcher section.

But, does anyone remember  a fella called ottie/otty, from south wales?

Met him about 40 years ago at a show, think it was upper cwmtwrch?

Anyway, he had a couple of the best looking red lakelands I've ever seen, even to this day.

Just wondering really, as I've never  heard of him on this site, and his dogs were definitely worked.

Well let me tell yah them dog had some minerals 1st time we dug that dog he died near enough shallow earth ash pit not ideal but I thought be easy dig for us was easy but dog being a big boy bumping round earths on ash wasn't best idea
