He's going over to Stainforth dog track this week. One of lads fathers got in touch with a chap for me. He's going to call me this week. Vet couldn't pin point what the cause of him screaming out was.

It's mad he'll be fine then just starts screaming holding front leg up.

He's been playing about with pup earlier. So f**k knows what's up with him.

Pup can't go out yet. He's not had his second jab yet.

I hope everything goes well for you bangers and you get out with your old dog this season and atB with the youngster

Never happened In 20 years of  keeping dogs. Not had one dog go for livestock. A live around life stock. Down road from me. There's some fields with sheep & cattle in at each side of the public right of way. With sheep wire fencing and electric fencing on the inner posts running up. 200 yards. All my young dogs have been nose to nose with the young calfs and odd cattle that's not shyed away.

Never say never lol

You see when a take terriers with me like a used to take the springer and my jacky. Nobody would even turn a head. It's when your in numbers with a few sighthounds. Which I can imagine many having banta laughing. So that alone makes heads turn.

Locals know too day to day dog walkers yuppy c**ts having there morning chat.

Better off last few hours of light. Hares start to move about. Some you'll see and they drop down again.

Its crazy how they don't just drop. Many slowly sit back on the seats or in the tracks.

f**k the thermal im okay at walking. Fair enough for lads who have a disability like you say.

I think like everything in life technology moves on , such as mobile fone internet ect . So for me a thermal is just a fail safe and back up , locate quarry quickly and also locate 2 legged trouble coming in various forms. Back in the day when we was running big stuff regularly a tracking collar would have been a god send . The amount of times we have been 4 hrs away from home and slipped in the beam on a big un that can take dogs quite far and our hearts were in our mouths as the dog didn’t return. My mate lost the mother to my own minshaw dog up the lakes on a red hind, my dog returned the bitch didn't  . We searched all night and the following morning, we never found her. A tracking collar and thermal the outcome may av been different that night . So for me technology brings a little bit of peace and mind . I totally agree with you also that it can get you fooked as well. Just got to use your noggin.

Trackers are a god send. I’ve been out with others who have lost there dog, both daytime and nighttime.. 2 we found several hours later. One was found the following morning.
I use one now and it gives me total piece of mind. That far outweighs the risk of getting caught and the tracker being used as evidence.

if i'm going out daytime or depending on what i'm out running i'll put the collar on. there a life saver especially if out on the bigger stuff . instead of standing round from 5 mins to hours on end you can watch exactly where the dog is and it will also tell you if he's still moving or they've got something. many a time you leave them one spot thinking they went a certain way for them to come back from a totally different direction . especially if you've hopped the fence i like to be on and off with as little fuss as possible . i don't think people realise until you've experienced one . same with the thermal. if i'm out for 4 hours on the night my lamps probably been on a maximum of 5-10 mins whilst running stuff . if it brings risk factor down of been out it's a no brainier in my eyes .
