WILF 49,507
Depends, don’t see them where I live now but when I was still in the U.K. it was based on quick judgements…..if someone looked genuinely in trouble I’d slip them a few quid. But if they looked like a pissy old wino who is going to get battered and drive everyone mad they could go f**k themselves. When I was young the pro beggars who give you shit when you don’t cough up got their teeth kicked out. Horses for courses
Arry 24,455
I have bought pasties often for people begging. I offered a pasty one day and this bloke said I'm a Vegetarian he just wanted money. I told him I'm not buying your smack so f**k off. Cheers Arry Edited July 9 by Arry
chartpolski 27,343
To many “professional beggars” now. The “freelancer “ who comes into town in the morning and begs all day then goes home at night. The beggars that, usually, are part of an east European immigrant gang who are controlled by gang masters. So, no, I don’t give to beggars. There are charities I support, Marie Curie. McMillans. Veterans charities. PDSA. Cheers.

Chid 6,744
I dont really have spare cash or money to give away but I always support veterans charities.. and I pay into a few different benevolent funds. Having said that if someone is genuinely needing food ect Id give my last penny to help
