kanny 21,649
I mean it's punk, it's kinda supposed to be shocking, in your face and anti establishment , that said there's an hypocrisy in what he's saying, on one hand he wants to free one Country while on the other he's advocating for the take over of another country Anyway good effort from Nigel, he knows how to make hay, no mention of Israel like the other leaders who didn't mention the country back bit and only condemned the death to the IDF chant....

tatsblisters 10,947
Think what's happened with these controversial acts at Glastonbury might well be the death nell for the event. Not watched it in years tbh though caught a bit on the telly last night of Neil Young and thought ffs it's time he called it a day thought he was terrible tbh.

Sad to hear, Neil Young is one of, if not the best live set I have ever seen in my life…..but that said, it has to be over 30 years ago when I seen him. I used to love festivals, all these middle class screamers and university types ripe for the picking…..it was all: ”Oh it’s sooooo amazing man, I feel soooo free and at one with everyone” And my bunch of oiks were like “Yeah ?…..give us all your stuff you soppy c**t and f**k off before we do you in” lol For context, I’m a very different person now and have been for a long time !! Shows how things change, when I was 20 we’d have made it our mission in life to get on that stage and do that bloke in. My pal when we was in London once just said to us out of the blue “Hold my jacket” and just ran into the anti-apartite protestors outside South Africa house and started giving them slap right, left and centre……jolly japes ! lol

Yeah I thought that and I like Neil Young stuff It was my era. I didn't enjoy his electric stuff in the first half of the set and seem to struggle with the old Harvest songs. yeah at 79 time to stop. Mind the crowd seemed to love it. Cheers Arry

poxon 5,915
Glastonbury has never really appealed to me I think it had its hey day but was ruined coming in to the 2000s when musicians became pretty talentless or soulless with there music most use auto tune can’t play a instrument to save there life most of this modern music is a load of shit and does nothing for me
