Fook that sh1t ! Shoes all day for this kid ! I've actually stopped wearing boots. And these days wear trail running shoes for everything. My latest pair are Hokas,  waterproof ones and like wearing slippers there so comfy.

You should try non waterproof. I was dubious at first but your feet will thank you for it. Less chance of sweaty feet or athletes foot and waterproof trainers simply don't make sense...as soon as that water gets in over the top...we're all doomed!

My lady has Hokas, bought them a few weeks back from a specialised running shop, really lightweight.People have worn footwear of one form or another for 40,000 years,I reckon it might catch on,got to take care of your feet.

Men cutting about with no trotters on just looks dirty hippy type behaviour to me,im sure it has its benefits but unless you're at home or on the beach it just looks wrong.....feet are disgusting enough at the best of times let alone being dirty.

Tell ya mac they like slippers lol. 3 of my customers in work told me about them, 1 a fell runner and the other 2 hikers. Actually for winter i got a pair of like trainer boots light wieght and water proof inov8,s and will pair with some mountain laurel design's light weight gaiters. Bollox to walking up on to kinder scout in bare feet lol.
