Well it was a lake fish, I’ve been putting time in on the Thames but was too coloured up at the weekend so went to a lake instead, I got what I was after 3rd trip out so I’m going to have a go for a decent sized perch now mate

Had much luck on the Thames mate ?

Already looking forward to the warmer weather.

Did our yearly trip to the Fraser, was a brutal trip to be fair with it pissing down, cold and windy most of the 4 days we were there. Only had two small salmon and no sturgeon over the first 3 days,

Another thing on the to do list, ice fishing

If you do try it pop into a local store and grab a set of ice-claws,cost you a tenner sterling, could save your life, get a plastic whistle also, each year in Canada and the states on average 250 people die from going through the ice, don't be a statistic.

I’ve done ok in the past, but that was close to 20 years ago lol

I’ve recently been told of seals dolphins and porpoises coming right down into the non tidal parts that are local to me.

Not 100% sure if true or not though

lol that’s closest part to me, they would have gone through a lot of locks to get there.

i was told that the rspca had caught and removed a few.

i hope they didn’t get in Wey as that’s where I’m heading tomorrow
