Probably the biggest button I've found and believe me I've found quite a few 36mm in diameter.

Mostly one big field that I've no where near covered and a small paddock next door mate. All the coins the Bull nose ring and lead triangle from the paddock.

George 1st coin about 1717.

The big field is the same field I had that Roman coin the year 134 -138. Then a one pence from 1971 Lol.

Find loads of copper coins with the faces etched completely away just blank disks.

The amount of lead I dig up is untrue thinking of start to keep it, just chuck it in a bucket and let it build up.

catty ammo or fishing weights first?

I drill holes in musket balls and use em as drilled bullets under pike bungs.

I've weighed in thousands of mini balls, there's a an old musket range on a local farm and I can dig buckets of em

No idea what hammered is in relation to detecting, But i took a mate out with his detector whilst exercising my dogs at the time, 5 minutes and he found one of the silver little coins that they use to cut pieces off, made him happy what ever it was,

That’ll be a hammered ?
