Greyman 28,907
Don’t no anything about it mate but nice find, looking at the two little lugs on the back I’d suggest it may have been attached to a leather strap or something
Arry 22,404
Was wondering if it might be of 1688 William off a Orange solder. William or Orange landed in Brixham and marched to Berry Pomeroy Castle but held his first parliament in a house one field away he had 14000 troops with him. So was thinking they would have been spread out a bit with pickets on high ground. I need something to tie it in so to speak. Also found a lot of buttons and 2 thimbles. Copper coins but faces worn off them. Cheers Arry Edited October 16, 2022 by Arry
