For the same reason I can't understand why someone would find it strange that people may be interested in sourcing a pup down from a line of proven workers?

You clearly have expertise in these line of dogs.

Maybe you could point him in the direction of any proven stud dogs or females that are soon to be bred.

What's some of the stand out dogs down from Pye in your opinion?

Wouldn't bother mate find your self a pup out parents doing what you want , going have loads people messaging you  selling pye line breed dogs when truth is pie been dead that long his blood his blood

? I've scant knowledge of Bull bred Lurchers,.. however,...I would endorse that advice regarding breeding.. I remember , many years ago when I kept 'Hard Blood' , non pedigree, race whippets..

Not all bull x are super heavy especially in the hands of someone that understands that and runs fast stuff with them. The heavier they are the hotter they get aswell no matter how fit youve got them.

Don't know why i must have expertise in this line from my comment. Why wouldn't someone want to source pup from proven workers? Your splitting hairs

You are showing your naivety, so you didn't know the dog or any of it's line so how can you know if any dogs are off proven workers.

That's not just Pye dogs, that goes for any dogs.

Let's keep arguing over bollocks if you like. ?

Showing my naivety???

You don't half like to fill in the blanks or assume things. Read my first comment again.

Never seen the dog work but have a dog from his line and you couldn't ask for more heart and drive in an animal imo?

All them dogs down from pie look fcuk all like him in pics, only thing they keep up with that black dog doing is eating ?‍♂️ So why breed them so heavy if pie was big enough an bad enough to do his job. Surely a dog that stamp much more useful?!

Don’t say they look nowt like him they start docking tails a bit ?

there is so much shite out there so if your looking for a  decent pup why not get something from proven lines? me personally would never go with first crosses you just dont know what genetics your getting. if the lines are close enough you pretty much know what the dog is capable of before its proven. me i know what im looking for genetics wise its just unfortunate i cant find it at the mo. Proven parents are essential dont matter size cross or breed, everything else comes to personal preference, quarry ground and training etc. so i know what blackwater pye whatever you want to call em are capable off, i know how the dogs work and think and it suited me. if i found similar lines i know what to do to get the best out of em. im sure there aint any about that close i hope im wrong. i should have bred mine im kicking myself but circumstances meant i couldn't so now back to square one. so if you reading this and think you know of a good pup from proven parents deserving of a very good working home message me. cheers.
