Wouldn't bother mate find your self a pup out parents doing what you want , going have loads people messaging you  selling pye line breed dogs when truth is pie been dead that long his blood his blood

? I've scant knowledge of Bull bred Lurchers,.. however,...I would endorse that advice regarding breeding.. I remember , many years ago when I kept 'Hard Blood' , non pedigree, race whippets..

Not all bull x are super heavy especially in the hands of someone that understands that and runs fast stuff with them. The heavier they are the hotter they get aswell no matter how fit youve got them.

You can't change genetics mate, you could throw a jack rabbit in front of some but it don't mean they will ever be fast does it.

At the end of the day it's horses for courses, you don't breed or buy a first cross for hares.

You don't but I i think a bit of decent bull blood adds more to a mutt What ever percentage I have noticed you thought pye made his name as a producer greb your wrong  nor did he take much stick for the graft he did ? but did what was asked regardless of quarry single handed ?

So it wasn't much of a producer, don't see what all the fuss is about then?

Like I said, ten a penny for it's day and age.

If you don't think other dogs could do what's asked of them single handed then you're wrong mate. ?

Pye was a very good producer I worded it wrong  but also a very good worker as well I have said never said other dogs couldn't go single handed but like you say the dog is long gone

I couldn't say, I've never seen the dog or had one down from it.

Bit of a confusion, Blackmag worded it like he said the dog wasn't a producer.

I'm not knocking the dog, how could I when I never seen it. I just can't understand folk chasing the name of a dog that's a good 30 year or whatever old.
