It's from the date of the legion being in Mexico so it could of seen quite a bit of service with a legionare

It looks like a vintage cap gun, but not sure. What size is it? Some of them were tiny.

I'd say about 6 or 7 inches the trigger slides in and out on a bar but can't see how it operates caps or anything? Iv had a googel and can't see one the same as this ?

Cast Iron Cap Gun, Pistol, Pea Shooter, Toy, Magazine 1892 (vintagetoygun.biz) it's a pea shooter
