They look almost pure grey. That first pic, that dog has some engine on the back end. Nice one Charts

Top pic definitely looks like mick the miller.

Many 1930's greyhounds didn't look as 'classy' as todays greyhounds. Most of my lurchers have looked racier and more greyhoundy than some of the earlier greyhounds.

I agree with tomo not long in back strong head and ears look bullish 

earlier greys do look a lot different shark

The angle that the pic is taken, of the dog in top pic, the front end of the dog is going 'away', making his back, and length of head, appear shorter than what they are. And the pic above of mick the miller, he looks fawn, but he was brindle.

Cheers mate, not that i can take credit as i didn't breed her.

She was bred in scotland and there a few of her litter mates still over the border.
