It’s just not fair , your neighbour has I dare say enjoyed some sport from his birds ? It’s not on really . To me it shows that he is not a responsible sportsman. Absolutely spot on, couldn’t agree more 4 Quote Link to post
Stavross 13,778
My shoot has been put into tier 3 so shooting can still go ahead, but some shoot members ( including myself, although I have a responsibility to look after them )are now in tier 4, I’ll be speaking to the shoot captain and secretary to see where we go, ether way I’ll keep feeding until I need to make a decision on what to do with them 1 1 Quote Link to post
Dervburner 2,548
Well, we’ve eventually got a bit of a cold snap, but into tier 4 tomorrow. Been feeding today, still wet, but the frost has come too late for this season now. 3 Quote Link to post

shovel leaner 7,648
Had a chat to the boss this morning. Apparently there will be a review on lockdown or our status in Tier 4 in two weeks . So it’s business as usual for the moment. Only difference is I’m not going spinning in the mornings now . I’m hopper feeding and pulling them into a few concentrated areas . Maybe we will get a couple more days in Quote Link to post
FOXHUNTER 5,020
I wouldn't hold your breath SL , yes they have to review every 2 weeks by law but in reality Tier 4 will be for at least 6 weeks I think . The virus will rapidly rise still for the next few weeks after the Christmas period. Quote Link to post

ianm 2,594
I got a phone call yesterday morning to shoot the afternoon. Tier 4 was anticipated in our area and so we made the most of it. There where a few guns missing but we managed sixty eight head with what we had. 4 Quote Link to post

Stavross 13,778
Well, I’ve been in touch with the captain and secretary, the shoot will go ahead as normal for those in tier 3, we have advised members in tier 4, but ultimately it’s there’s decision if they travel out of their area, we have said no guests and you must stay in your family groups, this includes a few feral kids that certain members try to pass onto others to look after, if these rules are not adhered to, they will be sent home and that will be the end of their membership 2 Quote Link to post
