Dogs that haven't got it in them dont just walk out of pig sets. Lol. Two dogs one was great on foxes other on pigs. The one that was great on foxes got tested on the pigs. It got mullied. The dog wasnt walking out mate. They had to dig down and when they broke through the dog was f****d hanging on.

Help me out bangers just so I'm correct dogs that HAVEN'T got in them  don't just walk out 🙄 the other dog sounded like he had to work hard but  stayed andgot the right result and fair play to it

Correct answer you'd dig down. So bayer or iron dog that can move it on in a rock pile ?  not affraid to move forward to move it on. ? Catch 22 mate.

Iv never been around boar but a lot of pigs on diff farms over the years an I’m very surprised that collies ain’t used more often for boar, bailing them up obviously haha not holding them

They are used a lot for pigs over here, pure and crosses. some of the best finder/bailers are collie/whippet.

Morning, taken a step back from quad bikes and hounds - Don’t need the grief anymore. Having moved house my country has changed, curious of those that do hunt the hills with their lurches and a terrier at your heel, how do you bring them on? Getting the right dog for the job is no brainier but what about the training? Thanks.

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect
