I wish my family had money to argue over.....

I dont speak to most of mine ,an not likely to argue with my parents over money.

I won't say what some of my uncles did when my grandfather passed away as it is so disgraceful and I am so ashamed by the whole episode I would really like to forget... But I will say the damage to a tight knit, wealthy and well respected family was IRREPARABLE!!! How any amount of money could ever be worth all that I will never know. I will never, ever forgive or forget the greed, selfishness and cannibalism (not literally) of some of my family members and it was all because this one felt they deserved more than that one and it just tore the whole family apart. I definitely learnt an invaluable lesson from the whole ordeal but I really wish I didn't...

There are some greedy b*****ds out there. I hate it when you hear of families getting torn apart by money. Usually there is the brother/sister who has ran hand and foot for the parent till there dying day and you've got the other sibling who's never bothered to even visit. And when the parent dies they are there with the hand out looking for half. Horrible c**ts!

Why should for example a daughter who looked after her ill father for a decade prior to dying be entitled to more than say example a brother who f****d off asap and barely acknowledged his family on the street?

my brother in laws father past away a few years ago he had a house and some money left from the sale of his farm, he also left 3 greedy f***ing daughters and by the time they had finished arguing who had what the solicitors fees consumed every penny they could have had, so they all ended with feck all, crazy behavour

I told my mum (not that their will be much) that she's free to spend all the money travelling or doing what she wants before she goes

if its hers surely she is free to spend it anyway.

Obviously she can do whatever she wants but I'd rather her spend it enjoying herself that keeping hold just to leave something

Regardless of whether my kids hang around, look after me, or whatever they do my will is for them to split what I have evenly and then they can decide if one needs more or whatever. I do not want my kids thinking if I look after mum or dad I will get more inheritance and I have always taught my kids to look after each other no matter what happens. it is the most important thing I hope for in my life is that my kids always have each others best interests at heart and if they do inheritance or anything else should not affect that.
