13/14. Those are not Brummie slang terms, they are yamyam (Black-country) terms, a world away from Brummies.

6 right on that brummie nonsense....sort of stuff I hear when Jonah or Mattyg is out in the kayaks with us..... Not a clue!! Lol

16/16 ! But I would have been ashamed to get one wrong - "me owd mam" still uses a lot of those phrases !

 

 

BH, do you say "Rain-worth" or "Rennuth" ? Blidduth ? Wood'uss ?

I got 15/16, never say or heard 'masht' but then I'm more nott's border anyway. I don't think I have a strong accent like folk from north of the city.

 

 

I got 7 on TCs quiz. All bar about two were complete guesses! LOL

My mum still says she's 'mashing' and my grandparents used to say it "meks ya tabs laff !".....when I lived in Wood'uss I heard a few of the older people saying they'd maybe tea.

I got them all corect on the Nottingham one, the bh put up,,,,,I have a broad Mansfield accent bh,,,I hate it...

 

On tc brummy test a got 10,,, and guessed a few of them,,,

We always referred to woodhouse,,,not wooduss,,,,but wood ous,,,like saying house,,,,without the h,,,,the same as we say the word house,,,,it's ous,,,,

 

And a horse,,,,,is pronounced ,,,,oss,,,,,

 

If there's a horse in a field over there,,,,,we would say there's anoss over there
