I wish i could hug my son, i havn't seen him for 2 yrs and i don't know where he is.

Hopefully you get to give him a big hug soon pal

The next time i see him, he will of probably have gone through a lot of shit, he decided that he was going to be a woman and thought that we didn't understand so he/she left, i wish i had been there for him/ her, and what ever the outcome there will be a massive hug if we meet again.

I still hug and kiss my daughter whenever I can, bath times are a bit awkward now though, as she is 5'11 and her husband thinks it's a bit odd?   But then again i've never been to keen on him anyway

I'll always kiss and hug my kids until I'm unable to do so. I would be affectionate with my sisters and nieces and nephews while my wife's family has little or no affection. All my siblings and me are

I grew up in a household that was devoid of hugs.... I hug and kiss everyone...lol

I do hope you make right with him ( no blame or judgement on either side - it is what it is ) but having that contact is so important. I left home at 14 for various reasons - arguments with parents being the main issue, and they thought I was being unreasonable ( I was ) and I thought they didn't understand ( they did, but couldn't say it ) so it was a total mess. Luckily. a few years passed, and I grew up, and gained some sense, and they got a bit better at talking, and all was fine in the end. I dread to think what would have happened if things hadn't sorted.

I hope the hug is when you meet, and not if.

Kisses and hugs have no age limit, but they should have a time and a place.......

When I was a lad of 14 or 15, there was a particularly unfortunate boy at school whose life was made a misery, because his mum insisted on walking him to school and kissing him goodbye at the gates ........poor ba5tard !

tb25?

Could be ! Does he still have a nervous twitch and wet the bed ?

your thinking of his mum.

I'm not getting into calling anyone's mum, mate !

my dad is almost 80, and me and my brothers and sisters are all in our 40s and 50s now, but we always give each other and the old man a hug and a kiss on the cheek. dad was always affectionate with us, but we were never physically close with each other as kids, that just kind of started when we were "proper grown ups". we get a few looks when we meet in a pub or such, but nobody ever says anything. mind you, i have 5 brothers and they are all bigger than me (and i am 6 foot and 14 stone) so its not too surprising!!

oh, and as for my little ones, they get as much hugs and kisses as i can get away with. nothing better than relaxing in my chair with one or two nippers laid across my lap, all sleepy and cosy. i always bath them and put them to bed every night. whenever they cry in the night i will get up for them, dont mind at all. and i always get up, get them dressed and take the older to school when i have days off. gives their mum a break, but lets me have some time with them too
