Jumping Rabbits.

Give the pup a slip on a rabbit on the fringe of a forest plantation tonight after a few turns the rabbit ran out onto a gravel road as the dog was about to pick it up it shot straight up vertical it must of gone 4ft

I've never seen a rabbit jump so high.have you seen rabbits jump 4ft plus.

I've seen them jump but this 1 surprised me how high he got.maybe it was the solid surface of the road that give him a bit more height.

I find that if you're lamping an area with stone walls and the moon is full and bright they'll often jump straight over or onto the wall rather than run up and down it.
