To be honest I think next weeks game will be our last. We do not have enough strength in depth and injuries have cost us dearly, but thats sport for you.

 

Still proud of the boys though.

For my money it will be S Africa, they have an edge about them that I have not seen in any others of the top 3. Final SA v Australia?

Some big lads in South Africa, Scotland just bounced off them. I hope it's Celts that win it, but like you, I think SA.

Unlucky wales thought they were the better team until abut 50 minutes but fair play the Aussies did a good job keeping them out great defence by them..

The only conclusion from the England game is Lancaster should be sacked straight away and any of the other coaches who thought it was a good idea to not just bring Slade in when Joseph was ruled out of the Wales game.

 

Was quite disappointed with the Welsh, to not get anything against thirteen men for ten minutes was naive. If that was England I wouldn't have been surprised but expected a bit more from Wales. Will Warburton have his captaincy skills questioned now???

I was disappointed in that phase of play, but I'm not sure where to put the percentage point for the Wales attack/Aus defence ratio. They defended like demons when their backs were against the wall.

The Aussie defence was very impressive but they were giving away penalties and the Welsh certainly had the ref swaying their way at that point. What difference would 6/9 points have made at that point? After they got through ten mins without conceding the Aussie tails were up.

I thought at the time to take the first 3 points and then restart playing 13 men. There were a few instances yesterday where the wrong decision was made, a scrum instead of a line out when our pack was going backwards at every scrum? The biggest Bobo of the lot was playing Cuthbert he is a liability and brings nothing to the team.

 

Hindsight is brilliant, but you have to make those decisions there and then.

Wales and Scotland don't have easy games next, good luck with SA, they have some big fast lardies on their team.
