im on a trolley system mate i have 350l in the van in 25l tubs as i also run a garden business so need room from time to time for that side of the business, i did the ladders for 5 years and got sick of losing work because i couldnt do certain houses due to balconys and hard to reach windows plus commercial work will not go near you if your on ladders due to the health and safety now.only time i use ladders is for gutters they dont come off for less than £40.

Its really good but there are like in any trade people give it a bad name as they dont know how to use the system the water reading has to be down to 0.0PPM or your in the shit and there is a way to do the frames to stop marks etc.

If you need any help about getting on the pole and how to start send me a message mate

Used to do it at the weekend when I was 15, had a good little round once a fortnight, mostly old folks. All indians round there now, and going by the ones there then, they aint worried bout the state of their windows..

A few years later I gave a mate a hand who was keeping a round going for a fella who was a caddy for a women pro golfer, So when he was caddying we was squeegying & scrimming! Was a good crack, my mate drunk all his wages!

Was 4 or 5 days a week and finished early doors, so part time really, mostly domestic but some businesses. This was in an area that had lots of housing estates popping up, so as they built them the round got extended.

Funny enough was doing a little pest control job the other day and she asked me if I knew any window cleaners, passed the number onto a mate, but I know he aint rung her, no big deal, but might give her a call.. got a squeegy for the shower floor.

Watch this space, confessions of a window cleaner pt 2.

Your Indian neighbours are probably waiting for a Romanian to offer to do it for £1.50, then they'd still try and knock them down to £1.

Leave my fuckers dirty and spend the £20 in the pub

All the window cleaners round here seem to be Jehova's Witnesses

Why do you think that is? I bought all my work from a JW and all my customers think I'm one now?

Don't know? Maybe just a way of being able to get a foot in the door so to speak?

Cheers, D.
